Your musical compatibility with Nands is Very Low
Your musical compatibility with Saito-kun is Very High

I didn't start using mine again until a few weeks ago as I was using a different music player and it didn't work on that one.

criticker.com for movies.

I'd love a site like MAL for dramas. I use DramaSummaries but I like the way MAL is set up.

Backloggery is an awesome video game listing site. In my opinion.

It's alright. The site is pretty slow, and it's nothing more than putting text on a list, there's no pages for games.

Wait, WTF @ librarything:

Enter 200 books for free, as many as you like for $10 (year) or $25 (life).

I don't get it either, why would you ask money for something that already seems available for free?

Yeah well, librarything is off my list of possible places to register!

I'm 90% going for goodread methinks.

I'll keep Listal around as its got a good concept of cramming everything together, but as a result it doesnt have the array of options that more intensive sites like MAL or last.fm have.

Shelfari looks like my new place for books. I don't know why, but there's always been something about goodreads that I didn't like. Can't put my finger on what, though.

It was asked before, but not answered - are there any similar sites for western comics? DVDAF and whatnot are fine for the cartoons, but I haven't found anything for comics. Even something very basic like backloggery would be good.

Goodreads does comics and graphic novels. Return to the dark side padawan.

You know, I've had this very same question on my mind for a while.

After looking through this thread, I signed up for goodreads and I love it. I'm already using Last.fm, so I just need to find a good site for films and I'll be set.

MyAnimeList is by far the best website of its kind. I actually make more use out of it for manga then I do anime. If you see my list, my manga collection is quite large. Unfortunately, so is my book collection. I so do wish there was a mybooklist on this site too, but alas there isn't. Does anyone know of one? I love MAL because it is so easy to use, record information, and gain statistics. I highly doubt there is anything nearly the same for a book list, but even a simple one would do (better then recording in a text document). Thanks my fellow MALers.

Yeah, the features aren't any where near as good as MAL. Also, it doesn't have all that clean of a booklist to show =/ I am probably better off using amazon to find exact book info, and creating my own personal list.

Hmm.. not that I'm aware of. You don't use it exactly like MAL. It has helpful things like tag clouds, genre tags and popular books under them, books by author, top wishlists, top being read (not rated though..), and stats for every specific book.

Booklist? The point is to add your own books by ISBN and create your personal booklist. If you want to keep a simple word document, whatever, but that's even more useless compared to MAL.

I am saying that the view style of the booklist isn't good at all, and has no flexibility like MAL does. All I want is a simple book database where I can view what I have in a smilar form as MAL. It seems if I want that, I'll have to use MS Access. It wont be as good as MAL, but it'll accomplish the same thing, atleast more visually appealing than librarything.

Im wondering if you are looking for a site orientated with anime which will be of similarity to this actual site, or is it just in general but can be associated with movies etc? Nevertheless MAL is the best, there are so many things to it than just saying what you have watched, flawless site. Hope it keeps going! X ))

MAL is just too good...it's put my standards up so high as far as list sites go. I tried one of the book sites, and it didn't even list the books in alphabetical order. >.> Which is obnoxious since I wanted to make the list in the first place to have some way of mentally organizing them. It doesn't help much if the list itself is disorganized. I mean sure, I can just make a spreadsheet but....I don't want to.

No, it doesn't. That's too bad. It'd be nice if they can expand the database to include individual games, descriptions, and even characters.

On top of that, not every "gamer" (whatever this term means nowadays) isn't an anime fan.

Backloggery sucks. It'd be best to build off of the MAL web structure. Just rebuild it based upon games. Then again it would a much more tedious task, considering the content in games. Probably best left alone.

Many anime's start off as a game. So i cant see it being unthinkable. But i also said "sister" site. That doesnt mean an extension of this site. But some backwards compatibility would be cool.

And yes, its "gamer"
