| Currently trophy hunting for Killzone 2. Playing through the campaign on Elite this time, and collecting intel/destroying Helghast symbols while I'm at it. Probably the best FPS game I've played so far. Gonna try for the rest of the KZ3 trophies once I'm done with KZ2. I'm also playing through Dead Nation's single player for the 2nd time, but this time on Grim mode. Shit, I'm already having trouble in Chapter 4...I wonder how much of a nightmare this game would be on Undead mode! Is Dead Nation much easier in co-op mode (with a friend)? I've only played an online mission once with a random, so I didn't really notice. |
| Currently playing Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. Yes, all DW games are the same, but I'm a sucker for 'em. Even more so if Gundam's involved. I have to say though-I'm disappointed with the lack of original bgm, as well as the quality of some of the English voice actors. The previous two games had the characters sounding relatively close to their anime counterparts, but this time around it seems as if no effort as all was put into their selection. Oh well, at least the option to use the Japanese voices is available. |

| Rediscovered Team Fortress 2 mainly thanks to the Huntsman, Direct Hit, Black Box and The Sandman, and of course the new Tomislav in the past one month-ish. Stable 30+ hours/2 weeks for now. |

| Still playing Killzone 2. Decided to take a break from elite mode and played the online multiplayer so I can complete the Valor trophies. Been a year since I've last played multiplayer. I remember I was at the General rank when I stopped and now I'm getting my ass kicked since I'm still rusty. Man I forgot how fun the multiplayer is. I usually play COD, so I don't get to play much objective-based games (Domination and Search&Destroy is filled with killwhores so I just stick with Team Deathmatch). What I really love is that each class really contributes A LOT in completing the objectives: the Tactician, Medic and Engineer classes which supports the team with good spawns, recovery and ammo crates/boxes, respectively. The Assault, Saboteur, and Scout classes help whittle down the enemy team. And if you prefer having access to a larger selection of weaponry, then a regular soldier can be used (iirc it can use nearly all of the guns), however it comes with the cost of not having any special ability. I like pretty much everything about the multiplayer except for that damned assault class -.- I don't mind it that much but its annoying when half of the people in the lobby are using it. Being able to join whatever game you want is also very convenient, too bad KZ3 finds a game for you to join instead of giving you the freedom of doing so (I've only played a few matches on KZ3 so correct me if I'm wrong). Oh, well. Playing the Uncharted 3 Beta and Bomberman Ultra as well. I haven't played Uncharted 2 yet, so I'm not really sure how much the multiplayer was improved. Anyways, after playing 5+ matches, my impressions were all positive (well I'm still getting used to the lack of a mini-map which leads to me getting lost most of the time). I didn't run into any problems while playing the Beta, although I think that the servers are slightly slow so sometimes my enemy doesn't die right away... but its not like it hinders my gameplay. The two maps that were featured in the Beta are pretty good too. I think this game is gonna be epic! I can't wait for the release date. :P Ehh, as for Bomberman Ultra, well, I like the 3-D remake of it, but I just suck at this game, lol! I've played a bit of the original and I really like the new game modes they added in. I've played a few online games, and just like the local games, they get chaotic.The only main complaint that I have so far is that 1 or 2 of the trophies are practically impossible to obtain (unless you find some boosting partners or play a shitton of games so you can finally find a lobby where the completion of those trophies becomes possible). Eh, I'll try to play this game some more sometime this week. I might end up becoming a Bomberman kickass though I doubt that's going to happen. EDIT: Woah, I didn't know my post was this long. Haha, I guess I got carried away back there. Anyways, I checked Uncharted 3's release date and it was going to be this November 1st. |

| Playing Digimon Card battle. I remember beating this game a long time ago with a Water deck (recovery FTW!). Haha, good stuff. Final boss is so damn hard with the deck that I'm currently using! A Nature/Fire deck that relies on quick digivolves and attack boosts pretty much won me all of the battles throughout the game with ease...but the deck just doesn't stand a chance against A's cheat deck. Well I did beat him with a Candlemon earlier but I wanted to see if I there are other ways to win against him with my current deck. :D |
