Macross Frontier's Ranka Lee is no Minmay, but the show was definitely enjoyable.

Nanatsu no Taizai's Diane isn't exactly petite, but she's definitely cute and the show is action+comedy with an OP MC

Persona 4's Rise Kujikawa is pretty hot and the show has a strong MC.

Finally I'll say try Oda Nobuna no Yabou for this cutie with an OP male MC lead

as it happens, Cavalry & Nanatsu were already on my PTW list. Clyde gave me a rec for Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (which I don't know why it wasn't on my PTW list), and I've gotten recommendations for Shokugeki no Souma elsewhere. Will probably also try Oda Nobuna, even though I've always been skeptical of historical anime.

However, what's the deal with Persona 4. Where the hell do you start? LOL

And will probably also try to start Fate (probably Stay Night) and Sister Testament Burst soon, as well

Shokugeki no Souma is probably your best bet, TBH. That anime is awesome.

With the persona series, I'd really like to recommend the games if you can get them.

But with the animes that are related to persona.

All of the tv series are separated except for persona 4: the golden.

Persona trinity souls takes place 10 years after persona 3 but it is a really loose connection because the setting and characters are different and there is only one cameo appearance. So really, you can watch it as a standalone title.

Persona 4 the animation is where you wanna start with the persona 4 franchise.

It is then followed on by persona 4: the golden but this one isn't really a standard sequel.
What they did with this series was they re-tell the persona 4 story from the beginning but they either fast forward/skip the scenes that happen in persona 4: the animation and just animated parts that were added onto the ps vita remake of persona 4.

So in a way they re-tell the story but you really need to watch persona 4: the animation to fully understand what is going on.

The persona 3 movies:

Spring of Birth
Mid-knight's Summer
Falling Down
Winter of Rebirth

Tell the story of Persona 3 which isnt linked to Persona 4.

Though there is a reference to Persona 3 in Persona 4 you don't need to understand it to enjoy either show.

My personal recommendation is the Persona 3 movies because although not all movies are out I personally liked the setting and characters over Persona 4 (I speak for the game). I also found the directing, animation as well as voice work to be better in the persona 3 movies than the persona 4 anime.

I know that you asked about Persona 4 but I thought that you may not of seen any persona animes
so this question was bound to be asked.

Plane trip with 2 hour lay over tomorrow so about 8 hours of traveling tomorrow. Anyone got a quick anime i can download tonight.?

Requirements :
- Must have some sort of Action
- Some Form of Comedy
- 12 Episodes only
- Something that will make sure i am not bored.
- Maybe something away from my comfort zone but its so good that it wont matter.
- If you highly recommended it, ill give it a try.
- Can be a Series of movies.

@swerve after a cursory glance at your list I noticed you had some stuff on hold that I think you'll find much enjoyment in continuing, most notably Haiyore! Nyaruko-san, one of my favorite action/ecchi/harem/rom-com anime. Also Nisekoi, Monogatari 2nd Season, Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka, and Triage X. Can't go wrong with any of those titties...i mean titles....no wait I meant titties.

Im looking for Anime Inspiration. This year has been slow.

Share your Proper, Go to series to a lad looking for a spark again. Im gaining it back by watching Naruto come to a close and KonoSuba but im still missing the GLOW.

Any anime series will do. I am really itching to watch the FATE series but I have no drive to watch the series as I am currently playing the game atm.

Literally any. Throw them at me and i'll try picking 2.

This show goes between coming of age, bromance, to mAnime battles throughout the story and it's amazing. The animation in the fights are ramped up and the later seasons look gorgeous.
