In anime the trope you are referring is mostly in jest and the hits aren't really malevolent, it just seems bothersome to many cause of the 2d exaggeration humor(for example guy going threw wall wtc) cause they just don't get it, but if you understand how 2d works you understand that the guy isn't really hurt. |
