| Great episode with lots and lots of cameos. Although I only recognised a few of them, making me realise my Gundam power level is still way too low. On the bright side, its whet my appetite and motivated me to start watching all the old Gundam series that I haven't watched yet. |

And more into the story, Nils finally found out what was emitting those Plavsky particles. | For a fanservice-y break episode, this was such fun! Exactly how fanservice should be done. I recognized some areas where there were probably homages to older Gundam series but wasn't able to appreciate them since I haven't seen them. I really want to get them in the future. |

| Of course this was the big party before the big battle that you see in lots of anime. It was cute, random, irrelevant, drawn-out, touching, nostalgic, and more. There were tons of little cameos in the crowd scenes of various characters like Hamon Karn, Kai Shiden, Rosamia Badam, Uso Ewin, and Kikka Kobayashi. The scene with Quattro and Lalah was especially surreal, while the scene with the 0080 characters was cute. Showing the lifesize Gundam was a dumb ad for the real thing basically. Mao and his master are super annoying, though Mao seemed to get his act together by the end. His master sucks, a real creepy character that trivializes sexual assault (too common). I wish this show wasn't so hip-deep into "fan service" sexualization stuff either; it's creepy overall. Mostly this episode was just full of short scenes, though, with the side plot of the investigation further into the plavsky particles. I'm not really sure what the big reveal was; I guess there's gonna be a gigantic Gunpla? |
