Chopper is gonna kick some serious ass as soon as Christmas season is over (when they go back to plot).
I thought two rumble balls would be pretty kickass...but three, holy shit. He's going to go into rage mode and destroy everything. Going to be awesome.
Sogeking is once again...useless and annoys me to no end.
Why the f*** do they keep adding in fillers? the arc is over in the manga, why not just finish it and put fillers in at the end?? I really dislike it when they stick random fillers in the middle of an arc, it 'dilutes' the arc somehow. Just like the Davy back arc, I liked it in the manga but all they added to the anime seemed really....lame...

What do you guys think its going to be about then?
What's this... some kind of magical continuation of the Foxy arc in the middle of this arc? Maybe Luffy falls down and knocks himself out so he dreams of being a boss and entering a great rice cake race...
Boo. I was looking forward to the second half of the Chopper battle. I've never heard of TV shows purposely doing something like this for the travelling viewers. But ahh.. if the tourists are travellling around in Japan then they can watch it in their hotel or something right? That is if they still care. If their overseas... well you shouldn't care about TV shows if you have the luxury of being able to go to foreign places...
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
This is good, Chopper needed something to get his power on the level of the rest of the Strawhats. This does seem like something Oda came up with last minute but I don't mind at all.
holy shit when chopper turned into a monster and roared... i got chills.
its gonna be cool seeing what he can do but im scared of how beat up he'll be after it, especially with all the damage he has already :(
also, how come the next episode is completely out of context with the plot?
buggy? cops? what?????

I hope we get to have an idea of how much Franky can do before running out of cola so it doesn't end up being a plot device...
If the reason Zoro and Usopp were handcuffed together was less comical, Zoro cutting off one of their hands could be something super awesome and memorable and shocking. Something Saint Seiya-esque. Obviously, there's like a 1% chance of that happening, but I think it would be cool under other circumstances.
This episode was honestly kind of hard to watch. I don't think Chopper has been in many fights and this is easily the most brutal situation he's ever been in. The way Kumadori used his hair as finger pistols to piece his body in a barrage was brutal. The way Chopper kept refusing to give up despite being unable to hurt him for the sake of Robin was so sad. Especially the way he gambled with the second rumble ball and charged head-on, over and over again taking beating after beating.
His line "If I'm gonna die anyway, I'll do it" broke my heart!!!
Chopper being unable to hurt him without his strong arm form goes to show how strong iron body really is. I do have to wonder where his ability to search for weaknesses went, but I guess he'd have to get lucky to land on that ability too.
The things that I love about this fight specifically are as follows.
The fact that ever since Chopper was introduced I've wondered why there was a limit on rumble balls. I also speculated a fight where he'd have to use more than he was allowed to or one where he had to fight without one. We're finally getting all of that. It seems that rumble balls are a way to control zoan type devil fruit powers efficiently without having mastery over them. However, being akin to a performance-enhancing drug that allows him to have full control over his body, it does have problems. I imagine when he has 2 or 3 it surpasses his natural ability too far and it pushes his body further than it can naturally go. This first comes into play with an inability to use his powers at his own control, and when he's eaten the third one it pushes his devil fruit power to a radical level, one of which he has absolutely no control over, but one that still pushes the limits even further than what he already couldn't control. This final form of his seems like an uncontrollable version of, say Lucci or Jabra's zoan powers. They are able to control their powers to a degree that they can turn into monsters like Chopper can here, it's just that I think Chopper doesn't have the mastery over it yet that they do. To be totally fair Chopper has a human fruit, not an animal fruit, but they are both zoan types and I believe they should act similarly which makes me think 2 things:
1. This isn't an asspull at all and it's really cool actually to allow Chopper to use a monsterous zoan type transformation far earlier than he should be able to, lacking control and all
similar to how goku can't control himself in his giant ape form.
2. Chopper should theoretically be able to master this monsterous transformation one day and have control over it! Maybe he'll be able to master all of his other forms without the use of rumble balls too.
I also loved the fact that we got to see Chopper's resolve and courage that he doesn't even realize he has to fight for the ones he loves like this even when it seems impossible, or even when he has to put his life on the line. And, the fact that it showed us exactly why Chopper is weaker than Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and probably Franky, he's a strong boy but he relies on rumble balls to be on the level of those 4. It's really awesome to see a fight like this to push Chopper to the limits, it's maybe the first time we've seen it.
The whole fight started with that adorable moment where Chopper got Kumadori to show him his control over his body over and over again. It's interesting to note it seems he doesn't have a devil fruit power but instead impeccable control over his entire consciousness if it is to be believed what he said.
Lastly, I am maybe going to skip next episodes filler for the first time ever in this series. This moment is way too good and way too horrible of a stopping point for filler... Seriously. Remincing on everyones past and reasons for helping Robin was good, but now isn't the time for some Buggy related filler...
I had no idea that Chopper had a forbidden berserker form like this! It looks terrifying as if it's straight out of nightmares and I can only imagine how horrified and horribly beaten up Kumadori will be by the time the fight ends.
I love how each Straw Hat vs CP9 fight starts out by giving the impression that it'd be a complete jokefest only to become completely serious to the point that it's deadly which completely surpasses my expectations.
