For (52) ”Watch an anime with a score of 8.00 or above and an episode duration of 16 minutes or more”

Can I use a film for this, since it doesn’t have an ‘episode duration’ really?
That's fine; you can use any type of anime for any item, as long as it fits the requirements. An anime with one episode still has an "episode duration", in a way. A movie like Spirited Away simply has an "episode duration" of 2 hours 4 minutes, so that would be valid.

Challenge Start Date -> The date the first anime was started for the challenge, regardless of when you signed up for the challenge. This doesn't include the original starting date for the On-Hold item

My first entry was of an anime that i watched in June. But apparently, after some days I found that there is an anime satisfying the challenge requirements which I completed in January. So what should be my Challenge Start Date?
The earliest start date of all the anime you use for the challenge. In your example, you would use the January date as your overall start date, since that's the earliest anime you are using for the challenge.

Yes, as long as they have separate MAL pages, you can use different seasons or anime from the franchise for different items.

Can I get some examples of such anime? Any recommendation?

(100) Finish an anime you put on-hold or dropped on or before July 1, 2020 that has two or more episodes and an episode duration of 16 minutes or more

Just to be sure but does this mean if I watch an anime on hold but it is not before July 2020 instead it is after July 2020, does it still counts? Because I have no anime dropped or on hold before July 2020, what should I do?

That would be an anime featured in another user's forum avatar or forum signature. For example, my forum avatar is from Dragon Maid, and my signature is from Space Brothers, so you could watch any anime featuring those characters. Basically, just pick another user who is completing the challenge, see what anime they have in their forum set, and watch it.

Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a deleted post on MAL. However, the good news is you can just make a new post and add everything back to your challenge the exact way you had it before. You can use anything you've watched in 2021 regardless of the date you sign up.

Any type of director is fine. According to the rules for that item, they can even be a different type of director in each anime (e.g. an episode director in one and storyboard director in the other).

That would be nice, but in the meantime we've created a list of 40 or so anime that are valid for this item. Also, remember that you can use ignore your type restrictions for item 57. Even if you're doing a TV restriction, you can watch any type of anime to complete this particular item.

That would not be valid. Bungou Stray Dogs Wan is listed as "Other". To be valid, it would have to actually say "Spin-Off". A valid example would be Attack on Titan Junior High, since it's specifically listed as a "Spin-Off" of Attack on Titan.

Anyone got a recommendation for "Watch a listed noitaminA, YATP, or Ghibli Founders anime"?

I know its like a sin for anime but, these aren't usually my type, whether art style or simply because some ghibli can get very weird (looking at you spirited away >~<)

Also any recommendation for "Watch a listed themed anime: Mahou Shoujo or Superhero" tons to choose from and apparently never watched any tagged with these, so it'll be my first. I'm cautious of watching any Mahou Shoujo with all the stereotypes/ stigma surrounding them, though regardless if anyone has a good one (or a couple to choose from) that be fantastic!

Bakemonogatari
Shirobako
Katanagatari
Kakegurui
Is This a Zombie?
Chidori RSC

(24) Watch an anime where the same Voice Actor is credited under at least two different characters
This one is pretty easy to find stuff for. Just pick a voice actor you like, and scroll through their People page until you see a specific anime entry that appears twice. Repeat until you find something interesting.

SmithyRocks said:

YATP stuff is okay if you just want a short movie to knock this item out quickly. Otherwise, noitaminA has some really good stuff out there:
Nodame Cantabile
Katanagatari
Silver Spoon
Kids on the Slope
The Great Passage
Wotakoi
Penguin Highway

There are several Mahou Shoujo anime that aren't stereotypical magical girl shows:
Panty & Stocking
Is This a Zombie?
Kill la Kill
Hyperdimension Neptunia
The Demon Girl Next Door

And as for Superhero anime, you're really missing out if you haven't seen One Punch Man.

I have a question regarding an item on my challenge list.
(64) Watch an anime with a total duration of 16 minutes or more that's tagged with one or more of the following: Military or Vampire

Would Mars Red be an option for that tagging? It's genres are (among a few other) Military and Vampire. So, I just want to make sure in case it's not or have I misunderstood the concept of the question?

Look at the Episodes tab of various anime until you find one where there's a skipped week or something unusual. For example, Kakegurui skipped a week, from Jul 29 to Aug 12. Also, several anime were delayed in 2020 due to the pandemic, so there are a few options there too.

You can check your episode history for an anime to get an estimate. At the very least, it will show you the date you finished the anime. You can use that to make an educated guess for your start date.

Unless you have a screenshot showing that it didn't have a licensor listed at the time, you'll need to use a different anime for that item. You can also move that anime to a different item, if it fits somewhere else in your challenge.

It's expected that you will be editing your post several times over the course of the challenge. Otherwise it would be basically impossible to participate. So yeah, please edit your post as much as you want/need.

#39 refers to the material on which the anime is based; could be based on a manga, a game, a 4-koma, etc. For an original anime, it needs to be an original creation. You can find that information in the bottom left of the anime page like this.
