| Decent introduction to the series. I wasn't floored by it but it defineitely shows a lot of strong potential (that it lives up to in episode 2 might I add). |

| I've been meaning to watch this for some time, had it sat on my EHD for long enough. I'm glad I didnt wait too long! This was a brilliant episode! The humour was well done slapstick and the Kamina character was awesome! And Yoko was awesome! And Simon was, well, the protagonist so can't start out awesome, but Simon was....a good protagonist! I'm gonna like this methinks! |

| A friend suggested that I watch this so I decided to check it out. Not really sure what to think after that first ep. Everything happened really fast and didn't really make sense.. I mean.. he just happened to find "Lagann" and the tiny key for it right before that giant robot thing attacked.. >.> But I do have to say my eyes were glued to the screen throughout and I liked that there seems to be a bit of comedy. Hope this series turns out good! |

| Judging from this episode, this series gives off this Saturday morning cartoon-kinda vibe to me and there's def nothing wrong with that. Overall, a great kickoff to the series and I've already taken a liking to the main characters. btw I thought it would be pronounced "sigh-min" not "see-moan". Didn't know he was French xD |

| Pretty amazing episode, I find it funny that the man who does Simon's voice is the same one that does Natsu's in Fairy Tail, yet they are kinda the opposite personality. Looks promising! |
| Going on a Gainax spree here. This 1st episode was nice. I thought Yoko would slap Simon or something when he landed on her breasts, but she didn't; I'm glad she's not a generic tsundere. |
| Wow. The art style throw me off at first. But the story and characters make up for it. And in the end the art style isn't too bothersome. Very promising. Will see if it comes into my top 5. |

| I'm only 1 episode in and I love this anime already. It's unlike anything i've ever seen! The animation is GORGEOUS and the story seems interesting too with a different take on the post apocalyptic world with bizarre mecha thrown in! Now lets get to what everyone's talking about: YOKO  Yoko is one sexy anime girl! Not only is she just damn FIIIIIIINNNE, she also carries around a huge bad ass rifle (not at all suggestive) that she kills bad guys with - Best of both worlds xD All in all, it's such a total "bro-fest" but i kinda love it! |

| I have heard nothing but good reviews on this anime and so I finally decided to watch it - besides.. it seems like EVERYBODY has seen it so yeah.. Anyway I enjoyed the first episode and very excited to see what the series has to offer |
