| Maybe it's because I stopped trying to break down the plot and make sense of it, but the last three episodes have been better aside from some obvious trope artifacts like the clearly-not-really-dead Ushio. The direction is also going back on track and no longer completely ruining every scene that is supposed to be cool, so there's that. A little too late, though. It's just not really interesting and logically consistent how often "secret moves" and new powers keep popping up without proper setup — latest offenders being Ushio's transference to the necklace (or whatever she did), Shide's (remotely controlled?) human but false body, and Hizuru's ability to pass on Ryuunosuke to someone else. This is not mystery, it is bullshit, and reinforces the shounen aura that the anime exhales despite being a wannabe seinen thriller. It makes no sense that some of these things were not brought up or used before, but anyway, it's nothing new that they spec'ed most of the points into rule of cool. |

| Let’s go Hizuru! Girl is fast with her spear! Risking her life for a shot at redemption ain’t a bad reason. That was some quick work with the transfer. Fuck you Shide! Ryuunosuke’s got into your “mud” and now he’s got a body. But my girl Shadow Mio though! “You talk too much” lol. Damn girl! Straight for the kill. She’s all business that one. But man, Mio got got huh? And now Tokiko’s gone too. Well, if first you don’t succeed… Looks like despite the loop, Hizuru is still gone. Damn it! But free Haine? It’s interesting she’s the one being played but ok. Maybe Shinpei can use this info to turn them against each other. I think the seed of doubt has been planted in Haine already. Well… so long Hizuru o7. Gone but not forgotten. |
| A death of a beautifully written character. That was a big loss, I hope they don't have anymore losses in the future. Since Hizuru transferred Ryunosuke to Shinpei, I guess in the next fight we'll get to see Shinpei fighting like a badass. |

| Ryunosuke and Hizuru went all out this episode. Looks like Shinpei's mind has an exploitable weakness that even Haine can't keep under control. With all that was gained that loop, it turned out to be a total party wipe due to an unknown technique by Shide. At the cost of rewinding back, We've lost Hizuru. RIP best girl. Although with Ushio's glowing necklace and Ryunosuke now inhabiting Shinpei, it might of been a mistake on Shide and Haines end by causing this loop to kill Hizuru. I'm hyped to see where it goes from here! |

I liked the disfigured faces and copy-pasted corn though. bro what?? are you ACTUALLY blind???? have you never heard of ANGLES HELLO!!?!? it seems like hizuru needs to give you her glasses because if you actually think that those SIDE VIEWS of the characters and the corn field which looks IDENTICAL to REAL LIFE images that you can literally search up on GOOGLE signify that budget was cut or the "art was lacking" then I genuinely feel bad for you. |
| RIP. Nagumo-sensei That was really intense. I also loved the animation this episode. So Shide really is behind all this. Hmmm. Ok one more month for summertime render this September. Looking forward!!!! |

| Ok so he sacrificed the kids, right? That's why we saw the baseball cap when Shad-io jumped over the shadows in the woods. He wasted too much time with wishy washy Mio and Sou when he looped back. Just a bit earlier and he may have saved Hizuru. |
| So they really killed the best character:( I just hope the end delivery all this crazy development. |
