As epic as expected.
Floch is one dedicated bastard. I hated his actions, but I do respect how he stood by his ideals to the end.
Please, make those two damn kids stay at that boat. Last thing we need is some Gabi to steal spotlight in final fight.

Give me ep. 2 :|

Attack on Titan is the greatest anime, no, show ever. I think even in the next generation AoT will be the best anime in history. Every episode is top par, the story is fantastic and everything is logical beyond belive. Zero filler in this long-running and beautiful piece of work.

This show is a masterpiece that will be discussed for years and years to come.

absolute freedom means taking away others freedom so violence is allowed like the law of the jungle (or forest) its kill or be killed

that is why society has limits to individual freedom via laws or rules since freedom is dangerous if its unlimited

no censorship of the muslim(?) kids death

they did the sacrifice of Hange amazing rest in peace to one of the best character of the show

nice to see the freedom scene showing how Eren is a man child for doing world genocide

How is one a man child for killing the other in a kill or be killed situation tho lol

The point of this scene is the perversion of Eren's childhood dream of freedom. The kid Eren here does not see the destruction he is committing, only the empty world he wished for when he read Armin's book. His view is quite literally ''clouded'' by his ideals. The reason he is being called a man-child is because he can't let go of that ideal and is in a way seen as childish and pathetic. Eren is acting like a stubborn child that keeps fighting his parents who refuse to buy him every single toy he sees.

Translation for dummies: Eren is not cool for doing the Rumbling. All he is effectively doing is throwing a tantrum and inconveniencing everyone for not getting what he wants. THAT is the point of 131 the majority seems to be missing. This is no kill or be killed, there were multiple ways of saving Paradis (like the 50-year plan) he could have followed which would not involve killing innocents. Eren is selfish and wants the world for himself.

It still shocks me that despite many differences, both Eren haters and Eren fans have one thing in common: completely missing the element you have mentioned. I mean, the one about Eren being selfish. It's not that easy to spot and it doesn't make him worse or better as a character than he was. It is something that has been with Eren since the first season of this show. He has always been selfish, just in the past his selfishness resembled more of a regular human. Right now his selfishness can be easily described as a trait elevated into higher level in terms of intensity. After all, not every character in AoT is capable of controlling legions of giants.

I will omit commenting about "Freedom scene making the Rumbling cool" type of comments. Sometimes I can't tell whether some people are that much obsessed over praising genocide taking place in the fictional world, or are blinded by their own headcanons to the point of not seeing basic meaning of a scene that wasn't that deep to require complex mental gymnastics to understand it. Shingeki no Kyojin manga had problems with exposition in its last chapters, but the chapter we are talking about didn't have that kind of issues.

I love how you ED's just completely ignore the fact that the extra pages for 139 completely debunks all of this lol (Even though it was painfully obvious even without them), but go off bro xD

Give an example? 139 and the extra pages only reinforce what happened in 131. But I wouldn't be surprised if an EH missed it.

Idk if you're trolling or if you're being delusional, but there's no way you can actually believe that it reinforces your delusion of this situation not being kill or be killed when we LITERALLY see what the result of 138/139 ultimately cost lol

But then again, you automatically made this about EH so that alone shows me that you're just a lost cause

Nope, or at least I haven't heard about July being mentioned in the past as official month of the second episode's premiere. I tracked the official news about Season 4 Part 3.

Anyway, the teaser says it's gonna be out on Fall 2023:

You're welcome! MAPPA has proven that if they have enough of time given to polish everything, they can deliver simply breathtaking Attack on Titan kino. :) That's why even if it was to be released in 2024, I wouldn't be that much upset myself.

There are many people appreciating their effort. There is also a vocal group of people hating and nitpicking for the sake of hating and nitpicking. It can't be helped. At least there are a lot of people who even if they don't like MAPPA's take on adapting AoT (we all have our own tastes, so our feelings towards certain works of fiction might vary), they still respect how MAPPA cares to deliver awesome looking show.
