| I just remembered a scene from an anime I saw in a YouTube Video years ago, but I don't know what Anime it is from. The video was a compilation of gory anime In the scene, I think there were two girls in mecha suits/something similar in a city that had been destroyed. The rubble was grey looking. There are big monsters which I think ended up killing one of the girls. Thanks if you can help to find this! :) (Just had a quick search up and it might be Muv-Luv, not 100% sure though) |

| Hey everybody, I posted this over two years ago both here and reddit and didn't single hit, I've asked since on multiple places across the web and still no luck, I'm just copying and pasting what I wrote before because it was about as in-depth as I could think. If anybody gets this, I will buy them a video game up to £30 (think that's about $35?) of their choice on the platform of their choice, consider it a bounty ;) here we go... Original post... Hi guys, I posted this on /r/anime last week with no success, so I'll try here. There's a show I started watching a few years ago before I really got into anime. I think I only ever watched the first episode of this show but I can only remember the first (it may possibly be the second or third) scene. I have no context to give you, story wise. The scene I remember, it was a teenage girl (possibly early 20's) and she had either just started or was going for an interview at this restaurant, however I'm sure when she turned up in this scene she was in uniform. She seemed on the tsundere side but I can't be sure with that because like I said, only one episode in. The restaurant (it may have been a cafe) was inside another building, when said female character walked in, she walked in through a double wooden door. I'm sure she started having an argument or was being sarcastic with another character in the room. That's all I have, I've been searching high and low for this show. I think it may have come out around 2007ish, and although I'm 99% it's not, it had a very Shaft-esque feel too it. Thanks! |

| I can vaguely remember this one. It aired on the Funimation Channel around 7-10 years ago. Turns out, there are others who are trying to find this anime as well when I asked. This was an anime about a bunch of girls in a small Japanese town, and they all wore/had very vibrant colors each, or there hair was different vibrant colors. One was pink, one was yellow, one was blue, maybe purple and green... I believe they were witches, or that there was some sort of magic. I don’t think there were really guys in the anime. It was not Ojamajo Doremi, too many episodes and different from what I remember. Edit: I also remember... a small house or hut? It was bordering a small forest near the small town’s street? Could there have been an opening theme that specifically showed the characters walking through town? And were there mountains in the background of the town? |

Each character has every one of the hair colors you have mentioned, and they do magical things (magical girl genre). The only thing not adding on to your description is that Funimation doesn't have the rights for it. So very high chance it wasn't aired on there. Also, just based from my memory, since I haven't seen the anime in years, in the ED, I think their cafe is located somewhere where there's a lot of trees/nature/at an edge of a forest? That's my guess, but I feel like I'm wrong. Worth a shot. |

I also thought of PreCure, but that wasn't on Funimation Channel. Just to be clear, Funimation had a cable television channel in the U.S. from 2005-2015. |

Thanks! Do you rmb any other appearance details of the characters (e.g hair color, wearing glasses, etc). Also is the a girl the MC or a major character? Can't for sure remember hair colour I'm afraid, I think it was darker but that's about it, now you mention glasses, I think she may well have done. Sure she was MC but again, only first episode. I'm sure there were other girls working there and the boss was a guy (kind of yakuza like in a way but not an actual gangster I'm sure. Do you remember where u watched it on (e.g. yt, crunchyroll, etc) You also mentioned that u watched it a few years ago, do u roughly rmb the time frame? Definitely torrented it (I know I know, I hated streaming sites at the time), would have just been off some janky public tracker, I know this doesn't probably help but I downloaded The Devil is a Part-Timer at the exact same time. I think I started watching it around 2015, but I have a feeling the series may have been a few years old at that point Is it: Hayate the Combat Butler Maid Sama! or in any of these 2 lists https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/all?year=2000&to_year=2013&include_tags=716 https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/all?year=2000&to_year=2013&include_tags=722&page=1&sort=average&order=desc I'm afraid not, I don't think it's a 'maid' focused kind of show to be honest, just that the cafe/restaurant is where MC works, I know it's a pain in the ass me having only seen one episode but I think the show is more about the personal life of this girl. Definitely a more 'mature' show than something like 'Working!!'. Ristorante Paradiso is the closest I've seen so far to what I'm describing but I'm sure it was set in Japan and the animation was a fair bit better (not quite as 'flashy' as Shaft and A-1 but in that range of quality) |

ChartTopper60 said: I can vaguely remember this one. Could it be this one? https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/23/Sasami_Mahou_Shoujo_Club.jpg |
