| Most fucked up anime I personally saw was Elfen Lied. Most fucked up anime I ever heard of though, was something my sister watched by accident. She said the main character got superpowers from drinking breast milk? Oh anime, never stop surprising me. |

That's the point. Giving you strange feelings and emotions, besides making you think a lot about nearly every page you go through. It's not a story that takes your hand and invites you to a walk in the park on a sunny day to admire the birds flying gracefully overhead. It's deep, abstract and heavy, but it's definitely unique and worth reading. I love it. Try to read at lest until the 3rd volume. If you get there still not accommodated to the story, just move to another one, because it'd be unlikely for you you to enjoy the rest then. |

Trying to figure out who Beatrice really is without using magic as an explanation was a compelling plot-line since it actually was a mystery.
