| At first I felt like Okarun was being stupid (his turn after Momo was being a little dumb), but this stuff at the end made it funny. It's so obvious to my eyes she has no interest in him, but he does have a personality that goes along with Momo's friendliness. I wonder if he will also end up with spirit powers at the cursed home, or if Miss Christian to Norse is will join them. This episode made me ship Ken x Momo so hard, she is such a boss, like, she is literally the boss of the show. |

Lightening the skin of black characters has always been done and is always done out of hate/spite. There’s historical context for why that’s hateful, doing a harmless black edit is not the same. | what's with this show and running? Sorta makes more sense than when I first read it. I miss aira already can't for when she comes back. Great episode. It's so weird that we're at the final episode this doesn't feel like a season finale at all. Is it just me it's so weird. I get the show is pretty episodic but there's like so little through line it all just feel like theres more setup to be done |

I remember that other dumbass in the Ragna Crimson forum, he was clearly wrong about something regarding that franchise, me and another guy corrected him about his misunderstanding because unlike that idiot we actually read the manga and we are way more informed than him, and instead of engaging us or admitting that he was wrong about his misunderstanding, he complained like a sissy and blocked us like the loser he is.
And I see him having that same attitude in this thread, what a fucking idiot.

| I'm going to assume the whole "my world used to be grey, but thanks to you, it became so colorful" is a Bottom Tier Character Tomozaki-kun reference and I won't be convinced otherwise. Putting that aside, not a fan of this new character thus far. He's too cringe to be real. He is somehow worse than Aira, and she is already borderline too cringe to be real either. Hopefully they tone down their personalities a bit in the future. They can still be goofy characters without being so over-the-top that it totally kills the believability of their characters. Also, even if he's supposed to be super handsome, having every girl in their class but Momo fawn over him was just dumb. There's just no way every girl would react like that given his behavior. I don't buy it as being for comedic purposes either. It's just lazy character writing. I honestly wish he really was a suave ladies man that had some major flaw like being a complete scaredy cat to see the duality between those two personalities as he hits it off with all the other women while Momo blows him off for being useless any time trouble shows up. Would have been much better than being super cringe and seeing women fawn over that while I roll my eyes out of my skull as Momo is somehow the only sane girl in her class. In theory, I don't mind the whole love rivals/triangle trope being used, but I don't think this series should use it for long given how obvious it is that Momo and Okarun like each other. Momo's classmates heard in this episode that they are a thing from Momo's friend AND everyone already knows they were found naked together in the hallway. Dragging it out too long will just become obnoxious. Unlike other commenters I'm not bothered by the lack of an overarching story/plot progression yet. It's still very early in the series. Focusing on developing the characters and their relationships to each other is much preferable to me than focusing on pushing forward with the plot at the expense of character development. Let Okarun get his balls back and then see where things go next. Plenty of long running shounen series either don't have the main plot introduced that quickly (Bleach, AoT, etc.) or only have a token Macguffin end goal introduced that early on (Naruto, One Piece, etc.). The comedy remains pretty solid imo, but Aira and Jiji could ruin it if they aren't scaled back a bit. This series is the one I most look forward to watching every week and today was no exception. Been a fun ride thus far. Hope it continues going strong with the last episode and in future seasons! |
