| What a wonderful trip this show has been! The music, the stories, the animation and most of all the characters, i loved every single minute i was watching this masterpiece. I don't think i can express how much i fell for each and every character that popped up, they all felt so alive, properly eccentric but also complex and well written. This has easily become one of my favorite shows, and for sure the best one this season. Would i love another season? Why yes of course, but at the same time i felt quite satisified with the ending. All the characters feels like they've been given closure, so while there is still more growth to see and characters explored, no threads have been left hanging loose. What more can you ask for? I hope to see my favorite losing girlbosses again soon! I think i'm gonna go find some food now, those meat wrapped onigiris looked tasty! Anna might have been a bad influence on me... |

| So overall this was a very good romance show, I think it’s definitely got something special and a great bubble of very lovable characters, Komari in particular. Its only downside is it sometimes gets a little overbearing with the ecchi stuff but other than that it’s great. 8/10 |
| Better than all the melodramatic nonsense from previous eps. Curious how the story continues, hope for s2 since manga translation seems slow. Top visuals and great OP for sure though. |

| They really ended things such a fine manner. I expected good things from an anime orginal and they delivered. Never thought they will turn a joke to such a good episode of Nukumizu and Yanami "date". For the final time Nukumizu, Yanami, Yakshio and Komari hanging out together for Yanami's fake date with her make believe boyfriend was such fun too see. Everything was perfect about this episode. Three of them continuously teasing Nukumizu, Komari just calling him drop dead was so hilarious. Nukumizu was so disgusted with Yanami that he couldn't even bother to think about any romantic feelings lol. "Never seen such an unromantic ah before" Idk what Kounuki sensei will achieve by sending everyone to date but it's not safe for sure. Asagumo only one to caught her plan. Good for them Kaju tailing the group with Gon and hacking her brothers phone definitely wholesome not scary at all. Poor girl is worried about becoming an aunt when his brother is like that. Best and cutest Imouto I have seen in an anime. Yanami didn't even catch a break here too as she saw some heinous act between Hakamada and Himemiya firsthand. She kept making her imaginary bf bigger bigger and until getting homewrecked even in her own dream. Fairis wheel scene was splendid way to wrap things up. Usual back and forth teasing between Yanami and Nukumizu will never get old. They were trying to blueball for 4th time. Idk if it will ever happen but I am so rooting for these two. Even omitting romance these two such a good duo. At last Yanami's famous line..  It's been such a joy to watch this anime. The concept seemed intresting but they delivered to an outstanding level. Every episode was good not a single letdown. The comedic tone is also mixed with serious drama. Best part are characters, every character is so likeable. Greatest background ever, best imouto, 4k blue sea otter, autistic fujoshi, airhead runner and even minor characters like Koto, Asagumo, Shintaro, Shikiya all were brilliant. Animation quality have been outstanding throughout. Sometimes literal Cinematic experience. A1 studios did a great job but still they still can't immediately announced S2 huh.. You guys will pay for you warcrimes if you don't do it soon. 10/10 masterpiece. Top 3 romcom for me after Kaguya & Horimiya. If Oshi No Ko didn't existed easily AOTS and very close to AOTY too maybe. Will immediately start reading LN until if they give S2. Watching the last ED really made me sad. I am gonna miss Saturday night Makeine so much๐ฅฒ  |

| Makeine Sundays are over, nooooo ๐ญ It was amazing. I loved every second of every episode. Though, since it's an anime original ending, I doubt it's gonna get a season 2 now though, so um, sadge ๐ญ Overall, I don't really have any complaints. Makeine was an AMAZING, character driven comedy story with funny gags about the losing heroine trope. Everyone in the main cast feels unique and have their own interesting characteristics that stand out among the others. I especially love nukumizu, he doesn't feel like the usual cool guy mc or the shy loser kid mc at all. To me, he just feels like a random guy that got promoted to the mc role, which I guess technically, that's the whole point of the show lol. Anyway, other than nukumizu, the heroines themselves are all lovable dorks. This episode was especially nice, since we got to see nukumizu and the 3 heroines, mainly Anna, interacting and just having fun as a group of friends hanging out (even if it's rlly just about Anna's fake date plan lol). I think it was a nice way to end it off, seeing the 4 interacting and showing how all of them have changed somewhat. Other than the characters, of course the animators, the director, and other staff members who make this possible are amazing as well, never doubted so since it's A-1 and I know they can do this shit flawlessly. Aesthetics, animation, character design, all great. Overall, 9/10, probably top 3 on my aoty list unless something from next season blows it out of the park completely. Might also read the ln now as well since it's probably not getting a season 2 anyway |

| maybe my humor is broken but seeing this dude's face phase in and out like a ghost had me rolling. As for the episode, it was really light-hearted, especially after that last one. I think the whole series was a joy to watch honestly.  |
| This show was so refreshing to watch; finally, a modern “romance” that actually lives up to the hype! The girls in this show are so great, all of them are so fun to watch, even the side characters are great (Yanami is still probably my favorite). Nukumizu didn’t feel like a generic self-insert, he actually had his own unique character. If this doesn’t get a 2nd season, they need to switch their priorities. Even if it doesn’t get a 2nd season, it’s still a modern classic in my book. |

| Funny how this is a romcom, yet it’s more so comedy-centric than romance-centric, and honestly that worked out extremely well for the most part. Not a single time I was bored, all the characters are very lively and charming, side characters included, plus the moral messages to complement the unique hook of its premise was a nice way to draw everything together. Hopefully s2 is possible given how positive the reception has been. 9/10. |

| I went into this thinking it looked ok,and got one of the best seasons I've seen for ages.Though it was a rom com,it was also serious,funny and had an excellent pacing,every episode left me wanting the next ep NOW!!! The characters were superb,esp Anna and Nukumizu,but all of them shone in their own way(Esp love the creepy Shikiya,she's bonkers!) All in all,well done A1 Pictures,anime of the season by far,now get on with season 2,hopefully,Pretty Please!!! |

@IzayoiSk I see that there are people who don't have a good interpretation of the text, the whole anime is very obvious that it was being a prologue of Nukumizu's romantic life, I can't wait to see these people's reactions when they see the content of the 2nd season lol.

| @teymarofc Thanks, I mean it seemed obvious but some people totally think that the series won't lead to anything for Nukumizu's love life. Season 2 will be announced in my opinion during 2025, that's almost certain given the popularity (and I imagine the producers also want to wait until more material to adapt comes out because I think there are only 7 volumes ?) Anyway, I can't wait to see a season 2 with the elements you're teasing! |

| Truly a peak anime from start to finish. The one I enjoyed the most this season. Ending it on a date with Anna (+Lemon and Komari) was a nice fanservice for Yanami Anna fans.  Was a very fun watch! hopefully we get another season!  |
| this show came outta nowhere with no hype and me have no prior knowledge of it's existence the day before it started airing, i just decided to see what's up and this ended up safely being the best romcom since kaguya-sama and we end it with a yanami and nukumizu episode, it's perfect! loved every single thing about this episode and show in general. this is my AOTY right here and man did A-1 cook with this one, loved the visuals, comedy, development and atmosphere of the show. even the drama never dragged too long and all the characters arcs concluded really well, especially for a 12-episode show. komari's ''drop deads'' killed me along with the spying teacher. never a dull moment in the entire show, yanami and nukumizu's goofy convos continue and i hope to see more progress from them one day. really hope this gets a second season to spend more time with all these enjoyable characters, A-1, announce s2 and my life is yours! |

| one of my favorite new shows of the season which surprised a lot of us with its somewhat fresh take on a romcom taking the back seat of the support role of losing girls very funny and fun cast with some decent development for them even if some moments had me going what the shit like that licking scene and the one sensei would easily take another season even if it might lose its charm turning into a harem if that ending was anything to go by |

| "๐ฑ I knew it, I totally suspected it!! Woowww" That was my reaction of surprise when I saw this sequence and hint from Yanami-san!. Wait, at this point, I’m just now realizing that all this time, when Yanami-san was fantasizing about that imaginary boyfriend, she was actually telling the truth from her perspective of how she sees Nukumizu-kun o: isn't she? But without a doubt, the biggest mystery for me is what on earth Nukun truly feels. It's like he doesn’t express it with words, but if we base it on the way he acts and makes decisions, it’s even more confusing. But, I’m going to use my imagination to believe that Nukun actually feels something for Yagami-san, and he just doesn’t say it <3   What could I say, a masterpice <3 i love itt!! I hope we could know more in the future about Komari-chan! |

| Batshit insanity but we loved every second of it. Definitely one of the best romcoms to come out in recent memory, definitely thanks to A-1 to the above and beyond adaptation. Unsure if this actually gets a 2nd season, but definitely wouldn't mind it. |

| While the production values and comedy bits were great I thought that the romance part was lacking for the MMC. However, I can see him getting closer to Anna down the road but she still doesn't seem to be over her ex and his new gf as shown by her reaction when she ran into them at the amusement park explicitly licking a popsicle. The final episode was good with the "dates" Nukumizu had but it was surprising that he was being stalked by not only his sister but the creepy nurse lady too (does that nurse lady have no life of her own?). Anyways, I'm curious to see where this goes so hopefully a 2nd season will be announced at some point. 7/10 |

Good question and I was wondering the same thing but I don't think they kissed. Instead I think that Anna wanted to take a closer look at him and tease him. I also don't think Anna has feelings for him in a romantic way yet but she does like hanging out with him such as during lunch plus she had rejected the notion of them dating. Having said that if they make a S2 we'll see if their relationship further develops. |
