| Killua>Hisoka>Gon>Leorio>Kurapika I think all the characters are great, I just loved seeing the dynamic Killua had with Gon and the efficacy at which his feelings were displayed. Their friendship was the heart of the series for me <3 and is the reason why I love this anime so much. |

I liked them both equally until this......................... Gon going straight up "BEAST-MODE" on Pitou's fucking ass was one of the greatest moments ever in Anime. |

| I have to compliment the show for taking risks with Gon, but it was at the cost of making him way too often unlikeable and hard to stomach. The "problem" (it's not, but you know, till it pays off in CA it is a constant bother) with him is that his morals are twisted and he is still given the trascendence and moral high ground of a hero. He is self-centered and observes things with a very biased rationale, dividing people between "good" and "evil" just through his gut reaction when things are far more complicated than that in the world of HxH. He's basically a nice and laidback but dangerously hypocritical character. It's difficult to like a character like this, specially when it's just a routine portrayal and there isn't something huge and ambitious to do with this concept as it happens for most of the show's run. Through the course of the series, and even in Gon's big moment, I have to admit I sided more with Killua. He is supposed to be the assassin and morally grey character but I find that his observational perspective with Gon is far easier to understand than Gon himself, and the way he cares about their friendship has hit me deeply quite a few times. So, my vote here is for Killua, and admitting that what the series did with Gon is really cool, but since the story is long and I can't reduce things to a single moment in a single arc, I'm going with the one I most consistently enjoyed, empathized and sided with. |

| Hard question, Killua is a better char and also very likeable but Gon is much more the representation of a kid with a pyschopathic side within , he is unhinged, does and gets what he wants acts beyond reason and that makes him much more dangerous. I love that they foreshadowed this several times before the big moment. Ok I understand you but now, when I'm rewatching HxH I still think that Killua is overrated. He would be more intresting character if he isn't that much simp to Gon but now he's a little bit boring and personally I prefer Illumi out of Zoldyck family |
| Definitely killua. His persona is just so mesmerising. I love his jealousy and intimidating mode. Gon is alright too |
