| I'm still watching all 12 of my shows on the previous page's list. Gunslinger Stratos is on the fence and could be dropped soon, but the other 11 have just been too good to let go of so far. The non-sequels that I'm enjoying the most so far are Ore Monogatari and Euphonium. Both of them are beautifully animated, as you'd expect from Madhouse and KyoAni, but they're also exceptionally well written and directed too. They're shows where you can tell the people who made them really know how to tell a proper story. The other highlight (to my surprise) has been Danmachi, which is largely a silly fun show, definitely nowhere near the other two on a story level, but what it does have is a very sweet relationship between the two main characters that I really like a lot. |

I still haven't dropped anything quite yet, but two shows are close. Gunslinger Stratos isn't good, you're right, but it keeps dancing on the edge of my cut line, staying just interesting enough to keep me from giving it a final push over the cliff. Plastic Memories is also very close to getting its plug pulled - I absolutely hated episode 3, and while episode 4 was slightly better, I don't like either of the subplots that it introduced. So disappointing...I liked the concept for that show and I really wanted it to succeed, but unless it comes back with a spectacular episode 5, I'm probably done with it. |

| Yeah I cant take anymore Denpa Kyoushi, woof. Also I am kinda embarrassed to admit it but I am enjoying Triage X, based on what I see on twitter, I am the only one. @WingKing So far I'm liking Plastic Memory. I could say plenty of bad things about it, it is trite, formulaic, you can see the story coming from a million miles away. But I still like it. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Though I can imagine that if it goes to dark, I wont. Being bad and depressing doesn't make for enjoyable streaming. If they drag the obvious darkness that is coming as some ones expiration date gets closer and closer, it will get quite painful and prob boring. So hear is hoping they can keep the arc to the final 2 episodes. |

I'm also in the process of dropping Uta no Prince-sama but it won't let me, and Ore Monogatari is starting to rub me the wrong way and might still get the boot. Which leaves me with with only 3 shows this season (well, 2.5 really as I am just keeping an eye on JoJo until the final arc starts). Time to clear up my PTW list! |

| I just watched the first 2 episodes of Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) (Assassination Classroom). This show has to have the most insane and silly premise of any anime I've seen. For those of you who haven't heard of it, It's about a class of failing high school student misfits who are being taught by a octopus creature with a head like a happy face. The teacher has insane super speed, blew up 70% of the moon and will destroy the Earth at the end of the school semester unless the students can kill him. (The various government militaries were unable to kill him). The teacher has promised to not harm the students and the students find that he is an excellent and personable instructor. ( I suspect that the whole premise is a unique way to motivate the students to get better grades, But time will tell). Show is currently airing. |

| Just watched the first 7 episodes of Parasyte -the maxim. I'm enjoying this one! Alien worms/snakes enter sleeping humans thru their ears and take over their brains and bodies. They can morph into monsters that eat other non-infected humans. Our MC is also infected but only his arm, not his brain, can be controlled by the parasyte. The boy and his arm become a alien fighting machine and get to understand each other better. It's a great "buddy" movie. :-) Up to ep 17, I love this show so much! |

| I'll be watching Charlotte, Chaos Dragon, Classroom Crisis, Danchigai!, Dandelion, DRRR x2 Ten, Gatchaman Crowds Insight, GATE, Miss Monochrome 2, Non Non Biyori Repeat, ShimoSeka, and Wakaba Girl, Wakako-zake, and Working!!!. Plus Sailor Moon Crystal for one more episode, Yuki-chan for 3 more weeks, Ore Monogatari!!, and (for my sins) Denpa Kyoushi. Don't ask me what those sins were (although my guess is for picking up Denpa Kyoushi while holding on to a No-Drop Policy), but the gods sure as hell are paying me back for them. |

But the comparisons ended quick, fast and in a hell of a hurry after raiders, on horse and flying dragons emerge in legions in the middle of the Ginza and launch a bloodbath which is countered by police and Japan's Self-Defense Force. The geeky otaku? He's a 33-year old soldier named Yoji who, on his day off to attend a con, helps save scores of civilians caught in the crossfire (killing one of the invaders during the battle) and later becomes part of an SDF expeditionary force, complete with tanks to the other realm. | It’s been a long time since I’ve sampled so many shows at the beginning of the season but that’s only because I couldn’t find anything really appealing on the preview charts. I ended up checking out GATE, Monster Musume (for real), Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, Aoharu x Kikanjuu, Gangsta, Game of Laplace, Ushio to Tora, Rokka no Yuusha and Classroom Crisis. For some obscure reason, all I can say is meh as CC was the only one to make the cut. Maybe I’ll finally finish the first season of Gatchaman so I can catch the second while it’s still airing… |

| I'm watching mostly garbage. :( Prison School: One of the most shameless ecchi anime I've seen in a long time. Shimoneta: Even more shameless than Prison School. Gangsta: It's about a deaf assassin, or something. I've kind of lost interest. Shokugeki no Souma: The food in this series looks amazing. Ore Monogatari!!: Really the only good airing show I'm watching. Cutest romance anime ever. |
| I'm watching a fun shounen title currently airing, Ushio and Tora. It features a teen boy who finds a powerful demon who was impaled by the legendary Beast Spear to a stone wall in his father's hidden basement for 500 years. In order to save his friends he frees the demon who he controls by the spear. Ushio names the demon Toro and the go about defeating other dangerous spirits. I realize that this sounds rather simplistic but I don;t want to spoil the story. The characters are well developed and it is well written. The demon keeps telling Ushio that he will eat him as soon as he lets go of the Beast Spear but they actually form a bond of sorts. It reminds me of the relationship of Takashi Natsume and Madara in Natsume's Book of Friends. If you like stories of Humans and Demons interacting you might enjoy this. 8/10 |

| @Mozgow If you are referring to the Summer season that's still airing then that includes Ushio and Tora which I'm enjoying very much. I'm also watching Charlotte. I'm only 4 eps in and it was so-so, but I hear that it picks up around ep 7 and gets much better. I don't know if you are aware of the relatively new MAL feature in the dark blue band at the top of the page under Anime, drop down to Seasonal Anime. It has a very comprehensive list of anime for past, present and future seasons. |
