| FMA Brotherhood- It's standard fare shonen but a bit better. Seeing as the western community is made up of shonenfags it makes sense why it got that high. Good show but very overrated. 2003 is better. Gintama- Get back to you on that one once I've seen the good parts Steins;Gate- It's a great show but it's way too flawed to deserve anything even close to that position. Plus even without those flaws I still don't think it's good enough Clannad- Ehhh... I'm undecided on this one. It's overrated but it's still very good. Although Kanon is better. |

| Like I say in every other one of these types of threads, no anime deserves the top spot but some anime has to fill it. It's the same with the spots beneath. Comparing different shows directly never works not to mention that people have different tastes and opinions. There is no one anime that everybody thinks is the best. |

| Clannad AS: I didn't watch cause I dropped Clannad after 4 episodes, it was boring and Nagisa was annoying as fuck, it seems to me it wasn't very different from Little Buster that I dislike, so I might hate it. Steins Gate: Fell asleep in the middle of episode 3, so I dropped that shit. Gintama: Never watched more than a few clips, so I can't judge. FMA Brotherhood: Solid but not mindblowing. So no, I don't believe the top 4 are superb watches. |

| Out of those 4, Steins;Gate is the only one that deserves to be there. Brotherhood is a soulless remake that ironically doesn't capture the bond between Ed and Al as strongly as the original did. It rides on the singular gimmick that it follows the manga more closely because people have a strange obsession with source material and can't appreciate art on its own merits. Clannad AS has a slow and dull beginning that drags it down in spite of its very well-handled and emotional ending. Honestly the first Clannad was much more consistently entertaining throughout. Gintama is a long running series so you can guarantee that there will be long boring filler arcs that waste everyone's time and it shouldn't be there for that reason alone. |
