I really liked the first Season, but compared to the first season the second is just boring. In the first season there were much shocking, you had too thing about what is happening and it left the doors open for many interpretations. But the second season explains every little detail, like you you would do to a kid. I just don't like this, but if someone want to have an explaination for the occurences of Higurashi, no matter what, he should watch the second season. |

| um.. does Wolf's Rain count as a dark anime.. ? i'd say so, but i dunno if people generally think of it that way. aanyways, if it is, then i'd have to list that with Gankutsuou=] |

| Is darker than black really that good? I watched a couple eps of it and as i have seen the anime ergo proxy before, so the whole human-robot theme sounded kind of ripped of in DtB compared to ergo proxy. |

| Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and sequel, as well as Codr Geass; I felt Geass has a little psychological side to it as well, though not to the extreme sense as, say, Higurashi or Evangelion. |
| at the moment : 1 higurashi, 2 ghost hunt, 3 shingetsutan tsukihime, 4 elfen lied. i also like witch hunter robin, but it's not as dark as the other i think ^^ (from the one i've seen this far, higurashi is for me the darker one .. :@ |

| Elfen Lied. Such a tragic fate Lucy has... I enjoyed the whole series throughout :) Another favorite is Mnemosyne (although it's still ongoing and has only 2 eps so far). Rin has such a sexy voice >.< |
