| Really interesting that the Kudo-character that we have in the present seems to have been so influenced by the original (wanting a better term, but let's go with it) Kujirai. Episode one had me thinking he was just really set in his own way of thinking, but to see that a lot of these ideas/opinions where hers to begin with, does make whatever has happened seem that much sadder. The nostalgia for the old Kowloon is so excellently depicted so far, and I love how they've achieved this rose-tinted view of how things were. I hope it ends up playing into the story because it would be a waste if it didn't. This is shaping up to be anime of the season. Really excited to see where it goes from here. |

| @Neneaux I don’t know, I thinks it’s really clever! It’s not necessarily generic as in typical or common But generic as in no-name, or off brand products. They’re like the original brand name versions, but unlike the OG they don’t belong to any one person or company. The same, but different And then there’s all the connotations that come with being the generic brand. |

| Ngl I was never gonna watch this originally but saw a clip online of the mc painting and immediately changed my mind. My current take away from this show is that the mc is fine as hell, The art style of this anime is very pretty in a somewhat retro way and there's a weird creepy thing floating in the sky. Other than that ngl I have no clue whats going on. But I enjoy the characters interactions |

| Another great episode. Damn, wtf was that ending? I assumed Reiko had amnesia and the mystery was more about how and why it happened. Now, dude at the end made it sound like Reiko actually died and this version of her is an android or something. Reiko's new friend talks about having work done from her own head all the way to her toes to make her a different person. So, clearly recreating and entire body change is possible in this world. I suppose it doesn't mean Reiko died necessarily, but maybe she got horrifically burned during whatever caused her amnesia and had artificial skin put on, or something. So, amnesia is still on the table. Anyway, dude at the end was definitely creepy. I'm going to assume he isn't just a weirdo and is actually a villain of some sort based on his forked tongue, haha. I'm also still intrigued by that prism in the sky. We got a name for it now, Gene Terra. Pretty interesting name. It seems to suggest it has something to do with the actual makeup of the world they live in. I suppose we will find out soon enough. Looking forward to it. |

| Is it me or is Reiko's voice in Kudo's memory really different? Alright, so my prediction is that Reiko and Kudo were engaged, but then Kowloon was demolished. Something happened to Reiko during that time that gave her amnesia (maybe the place getting demolished was traumatizing for her or maybe she was attacked?)... And now they're in a fake Kowloon? Like idk maybe a recreation of it, or a simulation (maybe that floating thing in the sky has something to do with it), idk that's my best guess. And when Kudo kissed Reiko last episode and said "Wrong person", he meant that the current Reiko isn't the Reiko he fell in love with, and now he's upset that Reiko is like trying to get close to him again (the way he responded to her new earrings 💀). That being said though, I'm not sure what to make of what that creepy doctor said at the end... Seeing the city in rain, the OST, and the sounds... I love these rain scenes! I need someone to make these scenes into wallpapers on Wallpaper Engine lol Also love Reiko! <3 @Mainnus She's so beautiful <3 I wonder what happened in her past though. I'm imagining nothing good... |

| Honestly, Yaomei was very sweet: she became friends with Reiko very quickly and it was touching how she supported her during her identity crisis, especially when she helped her pick out some earrings. But... what did she mean when she said she had surgery on her whole body? That phrase raised some questions for me. At this point, I'm torn between two theories: either it's all some kind of simulation controlled by Gene Terra, or Reiko could be a clone of Kujirai B. That would explain why Hebinuma said her wrinkles “have no history”. Whatever the truth is, I really like how, despite Reiko looking physically identical to Kujirai B, their personalities seem worlds apart. Kujirai B, in Kudou's memories, seemed much more mature, like someone older and serene. Plus, having Yuriko Yamaguchi as a seiyuu makes her even more captivating. As for Hebinuma... that guy is very suspicious and creepy. That medical file about a “compatible subject” gave me the creeps. My first thought was that he was trying to steal someone's body. Never trust the guy with shiny glasses who says subarashii. |

So does purposely omitting information from the viewer makes it mysterious? Because from my point of view, everyone pretending her past self didn't exist is just a mayor flaw because apparently some people do remember her like the butler. Maybe the spy device in the sky caught on to the inconsistencies and spirited him away.

Fantastic episode, i love the no filler / no BS approach.
The girls look so broken , maybe it is because of the memory loss.
I don't think that Kudo's comments about her wrinkles were derogatory, i believe that he loves them.

| @Asangbanne Exactly! And yet you'll find some people complaining that the episode was "too fast". I mean, come on now! Have we adapted to the manner of stretching everything way beyond it needs time to be easily comprehended? Or did the short videos & reels that everyone is watching have finally shown their effects in shortening their attention spans? I love the pace that the anime is at & I actually hope that some other creators learn from it. |

| @Yasminaa the manga is still ongoing but judging by the way the latest raw chapter ended it could be potentially ending soon (can't say for sure since the english is still like 15ch behind) so they might be adapting the manga ending. As of now an original ending hasn't been hard confirmed afaik, just people guessing it'll be original since the manga's ongoing Update since I’ve now caught up using MTL, it could end soon-ish ig? It’s monthly so it’s hard to tell for sure but it’s nearing the end, most stuff has been explained so far so it just kinda depends how far they want to take it |

| @Alkimia I was curious about that too and took a look at the voice actors list. It was indeed a different, much older voice actress. Also, Reiko really is shaping up to be the best girl of the season so far. |

Reiko in the present sounds a lot younger. Maybe that's just how Kudo remembers Reiko? Maybe implying she was more mature before? Then I assume something traumatizing happened to Reiko, a ton of stuff was blanked out, giving us the Reiko of the present who doesn't recall ever being Kudo's fiancé, and... Sounds a lot younger now. Yeah idk lol

| @Alkimia Just putting on my tinfoil hat, I think that both Reiko are the same with a history of her personality/voice/memory being altered. Now, I'm also curious what the pyramid in the sky all has to do with all the events that happened. Kudo's memory clearly seems to be unaffected. Whatever the mystery is, it is surely intriguing. |
