| The break was a good one. Very very few of the typical padding. No repeat shots, no unnecessary focus on character's faces to avoid needing to animate their whole bodies, and good quality overall. Let's hope it stays that way. |

| Yo, what the hell kind of a cliffhanger is that? And did i actually witness such cliffhanger for real, with my own 2 eyes? Big old Luffy, came up with an IDEA, by HIMSELF? If they weren't in such situation, that would call for celebration. And from the preview as well, it seems that it's actually gonna work? Since i saw General Franky fly while holding the 1k sunny with all her members on board. Then again, Kizaru & Luffy kinda fought at the trailer, so does Luffy's tactic actually works and they fight later on at a later time? Or does the plan actually fails and they fight on Egghead? Can't wait for the upcoming episodes, oh boy how i missed "kaizoku Ε ni, ore wa naru!". |
| Man it feels so good to have One Piece back. So many references to *that* flashback in the new OP, I'm already tearing up just thinking about it. I don't know if I'm ready to relive that backstory. |

| What the..!? Was this like 2 minutes long. It started then suddenly it was over. That was too short. Glad it picked up right where it left off with movie quality animation. The new themes are pretty good. |

| Color me surprised not seeing any opening right after the Toei logo LABOON Cameo! Sweet recap. Oh man, its good to have One Piece back! So many other cameos in this episode aswell! The Mayor knows whats up! We get to see Makino and her son Dadan is so affected by it all, and it hurts my heart to see her cry :( Man, that earthquake sounds like a big event. Has anything like that ever happened before that affected the entire world? I don't think so. Only One Piece can make me get goosebumps because of its worldbuilding being so strong that I care so much about it flooding everywhere. Here we go, to Egghead! Love the twists that Morgans puts on his news Couldnt have imagined something grander than the fleet being even bigger than Buster Call New Vice Admirals at that too! Goddamn the Straw Hats are in deep now. Kizaru is back in the story after a long while finally. Saturn being just as ruthless as ever. The York gag was hilarious. I am surprised that all the Straw Hats have now heard about Mother Flame too. It is so badass to watch the Straw Hats took care of York literally offscreen and got her in this. As always, Luffy the GOAT being provocative no matter whos on the other side of the call. I love him! Love how the crew has literally overpowered York and is having a feast. So odd hearing Franky's new VA, but I understand why it has to be this way. I hope the original VA recovers well and gets well soon. I loved how the opening literally began after Luffy smiled too. And it almost made me cry.. I love the new opening and the ending and the new eyecatchers too!!!! I think it might be the first episode to have no opening right after Toei logo, or am I missing something? Really goes to show that the show went on a break for the first time and came back with a banger! What a lovely return, even though it will probably only last for this and the next episode, it doesn't stop me from enjoying it! |
| peak piece is back after 6 months, anime is saved. that intro scene with the dawn was beautiful, really felt like a comeback from a hiatus instead of just jumping into it. the new opening and eyecatchers are great as well but damn it's gonna take some getting used to franky's new VA. so glad to see and hear the strawhats again though. |
