Now in that light, Ryu did not seem "emotionally suppressed" in the first seasons, but showed maturity caution intelligence wisdom cunning with strategic and fighting experience, there was nothing "wrong" with her character and nothing to "fix". So to have such a strong character, who served as an example for others to follow, suddenly become an emotional and mental wreck, losing all her fortitude, and to feel like she deserved to die, when she did nothing wrong, makes no logical sense at all. Season 4 & 5 have almost completely ruined Ryu's former character and they have obliterated Syr, another good character from earlier seasons. These last two seasons have been kind of disappointing. Well if you feel that way about psychology I guess we don't have enough common ground from where we can discuss. To each their own and all that. Well, I introduced it that way, to be honest and upfront, so we could discuss the topic, while being on the same page, without any false impressions. I had no intention of inhibiting you from stating your opinion in a response, I apologize if it came off that way. I am not against hearing other people’s perspectives, that’s how we expand our knowledge and understand. And I am interested in what your thoughts are on my perspective, whether criticism or agreement. So feel free to express your opinion, or if you don’t think it’s opportune, then I understand. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |

| It seems that Freya is making sure no one slips from her control, even Ryuu was captured right away. It's so unfortunate for Ryuu to learn that the person she considered a savior and best friend was just someone playing with her. However, it seems Freya still has a soft spot for her, as she couldn’t bring herself to break her soul and charm her. In the other hand, Bell still has a strong spirit and doesn’t want to lose all of those memories with his friends. He just needs THAT one person, and it’s over for Freya. |

| Bell was this close of being involved in the most epic threesome of all times and he will never know about it 😭 On other news, Ryuu getting baited out that easily was truly embarrassing to see. I feel bad for Andromeda now, given she had to team up with this nerfed/laughable version of Ryuu and not with the badass warrior elf from previous seasons. |

Why are YOU advising her to sort things out with someone your dumb self doesn't even know about when you're in such a mess yourself??? God seriously, this season has turned out to be a total disaster, thanks to this Freya stuff. Not sure what kind of a porn binge watching author was on when he was writing this stuff. |

| If people on this forum wouldn't constantly whine about JC Staff animation I wouldn't even know there's anything wrong with it. I know there was some weaker part in season 2 and 3 but I think Danmachi turned into their flag ship and they are giving their all to it now. Of course I am anime only, I won't notice if there are skipped parts or anything like that. And Tower of god slide show made me immune to bad animation. |

| Having watched this episode it´s made me realise Frya although as crazy as she is isn´t that bad of a person. She clearly has remorse for what she has done to Bell and her old friends, even though she says "it was just a game" which it might have been like that at the beginning, but has changed overtime. Like in the first episode of the season she even said as Syr she doesn´t know who she is anymore since both personas are merging with one another and needs to pick a side whether thats being Freya or Syr. I get that being rejected by Bell has left her no choice but to turn his world upside down since there was no other way for her to be with him, but I hope somehow in the end she has a happy ending. This situation has remainded me a lot of the goodess and the old villager a few seasons back who had deep feelings for one another but knew of the issues that a god and a human would face if in a love relationship, which in the end they never truly became a couple and remained in a relationship of pure devotion between god and mortal. |

| At this moment, the only sane ones are both Asfi and Ryu, aside from Hestia and Ouranos, and the latter doesn't give the former the light of day given Freya's total control that could jeopardize their wellbeing. Regardless, they try their best to keep themselves hidden, as well as Anya, whom are not under Freya's spell. Even Mama Mia knows that Syr exists, but trying to fight against Freya is a no-brainer, and even Anya does not buy her trickery after having Allen bring her to Freya, enough to lure Ryu out and give her a taste of her medicine. In the end, even Ryu is not spared, leaving only Asfi, as Bell rescinds to Freya on his usual antics...while remembering Syr somehow. Is there really no hope out of Freya's massive gaslighting incident? |
