| Bro really started writing an isekai and thought he could get away with it. The rest of the episode was just OK |

| The direction of this adaptation has gotten a little more daring. It re-arranged and re-mixed the contents of one chapter of the source across several others and did some cool stylistic touches like intercutting Yamada crying with Kyoutarou's tears dripping down onto his hand, showing a montage of his previous close moments with her to communicate him realizing he's fallen in love with her, and even an interesting first-person shot where the low fringe of hair over Kyoutarou's right eye is visible on screen as seen through his own eyes. I am, however, disapointed by the way it depicted Yamada's nosebleed. It was much messier in the manga: In the anime it looks like it's already done bleeding by the time Kyoutarou sees it, which diminishes his terrified reaction and makes the huge trail of blood he followed to the infirmery a bit silly. The way it involved "bloodshed" into the story in a very different way from Kyoutarou's silly fantasies is a clever touch but it's undercut if it's so skittsh about showing that blood. kuroneko99 said: The insertion of "karte 3" board at the school infirmary scene doesn't seem proper. What's the problem? I've liked the way this show has picked particular moments to reveal the title of the episode rather than simply showing it in the beginning. |

| This show is better than I expected ngl. The direction and score by Kensuke Ushio are just elevating it that much. Still not really a fan of all the perv jokes though I can't say it's unrealistic for middle schoolers |
| 3 episodes in and we got some progress. I like that. Ichikawa finally interpreted his own feeling toward Yamada more accurately, and Yamada's personal problems starts unfolding. I'm appreciating this Anime so far. Hope it keeps going well or better from here. |

| oohhh! the romance is starting to build-up! so this is the episode that our MC started to realize that he has fallen for Yamada...that moment wherein the ID holder fall to the ground in which the drawing of Ichikawa of the heroine modelled after her! maybe MC was really entralled by Yamada when she was crying... 5/5. |

| Ichikawa crying when Yamada was crying was an unexpected scene. Glad he came to realize how down bad he is instead of being in denial for a few more episodes. Looking forward to the show becoming more wholesome. |

| Watching the first two episodes of this anime, I think I felt more relief than anything else. Relief at the fact a manga I really like and continue to enjoy was being handled with such care. The adaptation up to this point has really captured much of the spirit of the manga while not being slavishly loyal to the source material. It had also used the aspects introduced in this medium (voice acting, OST, animation, color, etc.) that really enhanced the source material in a lot of ways. But this was the first episode that it really dawned on me how good an adaptation this actually is. As people have noted previously, the animators recut and reordered early chapters, but did so in a way that feels natural and even makes it work a bit better in places (certainly for the anime). Furthermore, there are very few panels from the manga that are directly reproduced in the anime. It really shows the animators thought carefully about the framing of shots, the lighting, movement, etc. of each scene and did not take an abundance of shortcuts. It truly is a masterclass in adaptation: faithful without mindlessly reproducing parts with high fidelity, and enhancing the story through adept use of the medium. |
| Such an adorable show. I love it so much. Yamada crying made me sad and Ichikawa finally admitted that he likes her and cares a lot about her. It was very wholesome. Kensuke Ushio carrying the music so hard. The OP and ED are both very cute. Yamada kept his drawing with her. Way too cute. Those boys on the last bench are so annoyingly funny. LMAO |

| Kyoutarou is working on something and ofcourse he drew Yamada as well in his sketchbook. Kyoutarou isn't feeling well and has a headache and goes lying down in the nurses office but sees the shoes of Yamada, he thinks that there are tons of Yamada's in the school but when he looks he sees Yamada laying in the bed. Yamada is relieved that its only him. The teacher tells Kyoutarou to bring back the shirt or something to Yamada. Kyoutarou then wants to give the shirt back but Yamada runs off to get her candy lmao. The other 3 boys are busy again with their dirty thoughts and whatnot. The basketball match is going on and for some reason Yamada keeps staring at Kyoutarou until she gets an basketball against her nose, ouch. I found it sad for her since she looked forward to the photoshoot the next day. Yamada did keep the drawing in her pocket what Kyoutarou made, and that snapped him. Kyoutarou is in love with Yamada, that was fast. The next day everyone kept only asking about her broken nose and what happened so they literally wrote it on the bandage. It was nice of Kyoutarou to put down tissue papers for Yamada if she needed to cry again. |

| Such a cute and funny show. I like the dynamic between all the classmates, and I love the way the MCs interact. Anna keeping the picture Kyoutarou drew close made my heart swell |

| This EP is a perfect blend. — Hope MC could visibly snap at those perverts at the back. That’d be out of character tho so I guess not. First ones were fine but the last time they did it this EP was really insensitive and infuriating. |

| Still don't know what to think of main heroine, she is just.. too plain? It's also probably a problem of her seiyuu, she can't give her much needed personality. (some of her actions still feels rather weird, like the scene where she pulled out lolipop, glasses and scarf in reaction to hand minigame - that joke fell completely flat there) But if anything this episode at least showed better interactions of whole group, stepped out of being just set of sketches. Not sure about his sneaking to infirmary after her nose got hit (that was probably borderline obsession) but the picture he gave her was good start. Also, not sure if this was animated like this intentionally but... (^▽^;)  |

She takes too long and never gets to do anything, which also means she's distracted and Kyoutarou doesn't get to see her reaction to lewd things after all. |
