| To be totally honest, I do not know. Maybe I would be way more interested in video games that I am not interested in at the moment such as Call of Duty and those types of games etc. But I do not regret getting into anime. It has filled me with a lot and considering I have been watching anime for 9 years now, my life would prob be worse if I didn't see anime. |

| The more I think about this topic minus my previous answer, the more I believe that I would be into western cartoons and movies. This is after thinking about the media that left the biggest impact on me and what comes to mind is....Shrek 2, Arcane, Into the Spider-verse, Gravity Falls, and most currently Puss in Boots The Last Wish. Honestly. I look back to the last season of anime/my favorite anime movies recently, and they really dont compare in neither animation, artstyle, nor writing. I can only remember Kaguya-sama, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Gintama, and A Silent Voice off the top of my head. And I havent consumed any western cartoons between Puss in Boots and Arcane. I guess most anime stuff was just battle shounen type shit or SoL shows that I forget about easily. And as a big plus, there is a lack of obnoxious anime fans and dumb anime coomer brain people that I see littered all over anything anime related like vtubers, streams, forums, etc. No incel otakus taking over the business of western cartoon and shows mainly for otaku (yes I am ignoring Velma). Man, Miyazaki was really unironically right... |
