| I use to look up the best anime openings and picked shows with dope music. Now I just go to MAL and pick through the upcoming seasonals. If it's already out then it's through recommendations. |

| For me it's mostly reading the synopsis of shows to find stories that interest me. Sometimes it's from seeing a preview, either by itself or part of an 'upcoming anime' preview listing. |

| So, I firstly browse the top anime section and click on anything that has an interesting cover. I then watch the trailer and look up general information on the show: Studio, director, length etc. If I’m still unsure, I’ll check out some of the reviews. |

| Usually I go through seasonal anime every season and add the interesting ones to my PTW list. For older anime, it's a mix of...randomly stumbling over a clip on youtube and falling in love with it immediately, going through the popularity ranking on MAL, listening to suggestions by people who's taste I trust, and so on. Then, when I actually want to watch something, I can just go through my PTW list and pick something pre-selected from there :) |

| I am tapped into a bunch of news feeds for upcoming anime. They are where I find all of my upcoming anime. Anything older is from me browsing MAL and a couple other sites. I browse by studio the most, sometimes VAs and staff, rarely but sometimes the popular or favourite rankings. I find a lot through reading manga and LNs as well. |
| Goals that I made for myself and achievements from sites A-Z, season, year, type, # of episodes, 90% complete popularity+ top rated, 10% of studio works that have > 100, different franchises watched per season per year etc Those essentially drove me to watch nearly all the things I watched |
