Damn... this was probably one of the best episodes of this season. Bakugo has really come a long way. Still aggressive as ever but he has finally learned the meaning of 'teamwork'.

Class A did a great job with their teamwork in this episode. The moment Bakugo saved Jiro, everyone's faces were surprised. Even Class B was surprised by his change in character. Class B did great as well but Bakugo and his team were too hot to handle. Monoma was angry with Bakugo's change as well. LOL. Good thing was that Class B didn't feel bad and they still supportive of their teammates. Bakugo's goal is simple, Surpass All Might and become the No. 1 hero.

Let's see how Match 5 will go.

I'm a little upset that 1-B will probably only end with one win and that this match seemed too easy, but at least the last match was awesome.

After this I'm just wondering if Setsuna's quirk literally makes her immortal. I mean if she can regenerate pieces then she could just split before being attacked by a deadly attack.

Anyway sadly Deku's team will almost definitely win, but hopefully 1-B at least captures a couple of them

I love this arc personally, because:
1. We get to see a lot more interesting quirks, and how they can be applied in different situations.
2. The strategic aspect of the battle. It's fun to see each team assessing their enemies and figuring out a plan to target their weaknesses.
3. The amount of character developments are satisfying. I.e. Yaoyorozu becomes more confident in her tactics, Tokoyami learns to fly, Bakugo manages to work well in a team, etc.

Just as I was expecting, Bakugou improved a lot, easy win, 4-0.

The last match, we are gonna have Deku VS Shinso, this has everything to be epic. Class 1-A is on a disadvantage here though.

It is nice to see Bakugo improving himself. I believe it's because he thought enemy team would expect that and he have to suprise them but in the past he couldn't do it because of his ego and now he can, it's amazing. Ngl last team of 1-A is pretty uncoordinated in terms of quirks and every one of them don't have the enough power to carry the team like Bakugo did besides Midoriya. The problem is I think even Midoriya can't make a good team from these people so I believe author is going to give Midoriya new and strong power enough to make us feel satisfied of it and make 1-A lose because they don't have a balanced team like 1-B and it will conclude with an overall draw.

Fantastic episode! Definitely the best episode so far this season, though the episode last week was just as good too. The camera work was fucking amazing this episode holy shit. Bakugo stomped, Setsuna's plan would have been amazing if we were talking about the Bakugo of old, but this was the first time they saw Bakugo in action again after all his development, so they got jebaited lmao. Feel bad for Setsuna, I hope she gets to redeem herself in the future.

Let's fucking go it's finally my boy Deku's time, they're team is definitely at an disadvantage, but with a proper plan, they can manage. We have Deku for the big brain stuff. So far, the anime adaptation of the arc is surpassing the manga, I really like what they're doing with it. The arc will probably be finished by episode 11. Really looking forward to the next episode.

Best episode of this season so far for me, it had a lot of action, quick introductions, the fight was over in less than an episode and it feel like Bakugo is the only in the A class who takes becoming a hero seriously. Not sure who I want to win, on one hand A class has Mina and Uraraka but on the other hand B class has Shinso and doesn't have the grape dude and Midoriya.

bakugou being a team player, thats nice to see. the battle wasn't tense at all since it was basically decided the moment we know bakugou is fighting and they didnt change it at all but idm. im bored with an entire episode being taken by a single fight so i was happy to see this only took half of it lmao

deku big episode next week, he'll probably get a power up/make an awakening so i hope he doesnt do too much damage since ,,, thats very much possible. shinsou will definitely shine too, cant wait for that

Bakugo did a switcheroony this episode! Brilliant first half of the episode, again packed with filler for the second half which was disappointing.

Do you know what the meaning of filler is? The second half stuff was in the manga, just because there isn’t action doesn’t mean it’s filler.

From a story perspective how did it advance? I'm not saying without action there's just filler but they can use it for storybuilding, instead they rehashed the oh my god bakugos changed gag for 5 minutes then made talked about midoriya's team being support style rather than aggro but spent a long time explaining it. What I mean by filler is saying the same thing again and again or having weird gags that don't add to the plot. Case in point, the bits when they go stop biased commentary is indeed filler, they are indeed padding for time by having a gag that's beating a dead horse, but is the filler bad? Not really but it's still filler. Just because something's in the manga doesn't mean it has to be adapted or adapted for as long as the manga can also include filler. They could've considerably shortened the second half or could have had more story relevant planning etc, which wouldn't exactly be filler.

Bakugou seems like he hasn't changed much but the truth is, he's changed A LOT; he cooperates, thinks of others, and puts himself on the line for his team. He's got one of the best character developments because he's adapted and bettered himself but without compromising who he is as a person.

I'm so hyped for the next episode! Deku vs Shinso rematch and they've both improved on a mad level. This is gonna be sick af!

Wow,just wow.Look how far Bakugou has grown.
He started off being an asshole. Not caring about others but only himself. At first he always thinks he never loses and now he is taking that into consideration and telling his teammates to save him when he's in trouble and he'll save his teammates when they're in trouble.
This is by far the best episode this season and my favorite match the whole season.
Hori really pays off well when he writes any redemption character arc.

And that's the huge difference in his personality if you've been paying attention to his character in previous seasons.

Definitely one of or my favorite episode so far! I really like Bakugous' character development, still a lot to work on but he's learning to be there for his classmates and that they'll be there for him too. I'm also glad it didn't last 2 episodes for once. And Bakugo not saying Jirou's name reminds Me of Deku calling Tsu Asui 😂. Can't wait for the next episode!

I’m glad that this starting to pick up after how shockingly disappointing the first 7 episodes were. Seeing Bakugo work in a team and even help out his teammates was such a great moment even if the fight itself was a bit underwhelming. The animation was solid given all that the had to do to capture Bakugo’s movements. Deku’s fight is next and I am hoping that it turns out well.

Check my last post, I explained my point with examples, if it doesn’t add to the story or isn’t referenced once again it’s filler and I wasn’t saying the filler was bad I just said it was disappointing since this arc has been basically that same format, half story then 3/8 filler with 1/8 gags

What deep plot needs to be advanced in the middle of a training arc? The second half had people reflect on the previous battle and showed the different people take notice of bakugo’s growth and then had preparation for the next battle. It gives the viewer time to breath in between battles instead of going straight through to the next one. I agree that the biased commentary is played too much and sure they had too many people say that bakugo has changed but that’s how it was in the manga too. And people reference filler as things that are not in the source material or isn’t considered canon. The whole second half is in the source material and is considered canon and therefore isn’t filler. I see what your saying but I think it’s fine with how things played out

Guess the correct term would be padding in this case. I used filler since it meant what I wanted it to, as in it filled in gaps to make it meet the run time but anime terminology wise filler was probably the wrong use of word there

I was excited to see what Class B could do this time, but I was sadly disappointed that they were beaten so fast. Every other fight had given Class B some spotlight but this one only did it once or twice, I still like this arc a lot but this was the one fight I didn’t like, I’m also not a fan of Bakugo so there’s that too lol, so it really wasn’t for me. I don’t think Class B will win the next one, but it’s definitely gonna be a better fight and I’m excited for that.
