I watch a lot of seasonal anime at the same time so if one of them ends I watch the new episode of the other anime.

Nice, I wish I could get into seasonal anime which is impossible for me to do lol. I prefer to watch anime when they are completed so that I can watch the whole thing without waiting a week per episode. I heard Jujutsu Kaisen is pretty good and I can't wait when it's completed so I can start watching it!

For me in completed animes, if I see there's a lot of episodes then I kinda get discouraged and lazy to finish it but if I find it really interesting then I'm gonna binge watch and finish it in one day. But I prefer waiting a week per episode cause it gives you that excited and “can't wait!” feeling XD

Yeah, definitely give Jujutsu Kaisen a watch, MAPPA is doing such a great job in this one. If you like it, you might finish it in one day.

If I find a new one to watch right away then it'll be almost immediately but usually I'll spend a day or two looking around for another anime or just rewatch an old anime that I've see a hundred times while looking for something new to watch.

Usually I spend a day or two watching random anime YT clips before I move on to watch another anime series lol. But props to you, I can't watch the same series twice!

Thank you, there are certain animes that I don't mind rewatching over and over, mostly because they were highly enjoyable and I normally don't watch rewatch an anime repeatedly after finishing it once. I usually have like a a few animes set aside for me to rewatch every few months or so so that I can still continue watching any animes I'm taking a break from or find new ones.

I love the way you designed your profile Satorii! It's very appealing to look at! And the fact that you made through Google Slides is very unique.

But that's crazy. So you have a rule that requires to watch a whole entire anime series for a month or for every month? Is this for a MAL badge or is this is how you personally watch anime? I'd say take your time man, enjoy and relax lol.

Also side note: I see that Bleach is one of your favorite anime, nice! I'd say that Bleach probably has one of the best soundtracks of all time. Probably my favorite opening from Bleach is OP 15.

Thanks for the compliment! But yeah, I finish a 12-episode series every one or two days and to make up for the rest of the days where I didn't finish a series, I watch OVAs, ONAs, Specials and Movies. I would love to take my time but there's so much anime to watch, so many unique experiences that I can't wait to get to the next one. It's divided monthly so that if I finish watching 40 anime in October, I can't take a break for 10 days in November.

I keep a schedule handy using Google Keep so that I can keep track of what anime and how many episodes of it I'm supposed to watch on any specific day, I usually write the schedule for the next month on the final day of the preceding month. December's schedule is gonna look insane with how much free time I have now. [0_0;]

And as for Bleach, it's still my favorite Soundtrack of all time, and my favorite song from there is either Never Meant to Belong or Soundscape to Ardor (Shirou Sagisu is OST Jesus). Pretty rare to see someone's fav be Harukaze! Mine is probably Velonica.

This question is weird. I've never thought about taking a break after completing an anime unless it's very emotionally draining. If that's the case, which is rare for me, I'll take a few days to collect my bearings. Like the last episode of Cowboy Bebop or Ashita no Joe. Other than that, I'm always watching anime.
A psychic dwarf escapes from a prison. It was a small medium at large.

I'm kinda in school rn so constantly watching anime would probably not be good for my grades or psyche, but even so it only takes me maybe 1-2 days to start something again. There have also been times where I finished a show and without making the conscious decision, haven't watched anime for a week or two, simply because I wasn't thinking about it.

I thought it would be easy to answer this question. But it's more complicated than I thought. I guess it depends on whether or not I have enough time to watch anime to begin with.
If not for that last option (:D), I probably would have picked the 4th one. If I was asked this question a few years ago, I most likely would have picked the 2nd one? Back when I had the time to binge entire series in a weekend, I was a lot more emotionally affected by good series, and it would have been harder for me to move on right away.

But now when I hardly have time to watch anything, I don't feel the need to wait between series. For one, I have limited time and want to watch as much as I can. For another, it takes me so long to finish a new show anyways that I don't feel as much of a connection to it or a need to process it for long.

The time I wait in between finishing one show and starting another is really a measure of how much free time I have. At the minimum, it might still take a day or two for me to download everything.

Probably at least a day although I'm still trying to recover from watching Hajime no Ippo. That shit was way too intense for a sports anime.

I don't have a pattern. Sometimes I start a new one immediately or sometimes turn to TV shows for a while and get a break from anime. It's all about my mood and how much I liked the last series I watched.

Do you guys take long breaks or do you guys move onto another anime immediately right after watching one?

Like most people here I use to move on in 1-2 days + letting what I watched/read digest. But with life, school, and so much more going on I'm not able to just move on anymore. I have to plan out the next series that I want to watch/read. This means: Interest level and time & day planning. This summer I actually was able to watch a weekly anime and finish a boat load of manga. The easy days are when I get done of 3-4 hours of reading One-shots OR watching short anime (the ones under 4 minutes)

It usually depends on how busy I am and varies throughout the year. That aside, if the anime was very interesting and there is much to talk about, then it would probably be a week at least until I move on to the next series. Otherwise I'll probably move on to the next series the day after finishing the previous one.

It really depends, usually when i give a 10 or a 9 to an anime series i usually get consumed watching videos, going into forums, etc. When that's not the case within a day i start watching another series.

I find starting a new series to be exciting so I will at least watch one episode of what I am seeing next after I finish a show. Also I think first episodes are some of the most interesting, even if it takes me awhile to complete the show.

Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked? Well, if that's what your intent is; to tempt me into throwing hands with someone as lowly and insignificant as you, then i may grant your wish provided you articulate yourself a bit better when trying to spite a person of my wavelength.

I move onto the next one right away. I'm used to watching several shows at the same time (mostly seasonals).
I have a huge list of "Plan to watch" which keeps expanding, so I always have something I want to watch next and I don't like wasting time.
Seasonals are actually pretty cool because being one episode per week I'm allowed to take my time with each episode, process it and even discuss it or read discussions on the forums.

I basically find something to watch every time I finish an anime cause as I voted 'time constraints are stupid'. I watch one piece which makes it easy to never run out of what to watch but I need a short anime for a break once in a while.

"I structure my anime watching time to school and school-work" - that is what I would like to say but at this exact moment, I am procrastinating doing an assignment that was due last night. However, that my mindset, not my actions.

Tbh I think it depends. I'll most likely move on immediately to another anime, however, I may not pay attention as much as I should be and I'll act very fidgety. I think that a 1 day break should be good (not as in 24hrs, more like 12 hours in the middle of the day)

I jump into the next series immediately because I hate procrastinating on shows. That is, as long as I'm not busy with other things, of course. Otherwise I'm constantly on that grind.

It depends if i'm feeling that hunger that itch to watch an anime or not after completing an anime.
It depends if i'm focusing on something else from start to finish like watching a dorama or reading a manga.
So based on the last three anime i finished it went like this:
I started Iron Blooded Orphans season 2 anime in october, it was so boring i finished it this month.
During the month of october i rewatched one of the earliest animes i watched, Tonari no kaibutsu kun in less than a week.
Two days after finishing Iron Blooded i watched Demi-chan to kataritai, i knew about it and i've been wanting to watch it after viewing some clips on youtube. So i did and it was so good i finished it in two days.

So 1 anime in october and 2 on november because iron blooded also left me unsatisfied and with an itch for more, all those days in between i started and finished reading Tonari no kaibutsu kun*, Blame!, Maga-tsuki and Masamune-kun no revenge.
*recently i read the manga of anime's i finished if the manga is also finished to get the real ending.

I avoid going anime back to back because i'm trying to give more time to manga.

I don't know which option to choose because it varies. Immediately if time permits, as soon as I can if it doesn't. Sometimes I watch every day other times it's a few days or weeks between.

Sometimes an anime lingers in my head and I think about it even after I have watched one or more other series, but that doesn't affect my enjoyment of what I'm watching. My brain can multi-task.
