| Haikyuu was TT in my country, I was happy... until I saw the memes... I've already watched the episode and it felt weird. At the beginning the animation started to drop and got really weird, it scared me a lot. But then, it became normal and even incredible at some point, so I don't fcking understand what happened. I mean, the animation from Kageyama's serve was amazing, but the Miya's faces... god... I just wanted to see a good animation for this pannel ):  |

| Downright terrible. 2/5 for some of the worst animation in my recent memory and killing off all the hype this episode had had the potential for. 2/5. Ugh. Bakauchuujin said: Hope animation atleast is fixed for blu ray release. It's not the usual detail saturation, they'd basically have to redo the entire episode to get rid of all the still and absolutely hideous animation in most parts. Keep in mind they are working in the middle of a pandemic which brings in difficulties around not only working from home, but also financial difficulties as well. I'd be lying if I wasn't a little disappointed, but I'm more inclined to cut them some slack. |
| I always think it's hilarious that their are fans who really feel the need to defend EVERYTHING about their favorite anime rather than pointing out and accepting it's faults. Haikyuu! is amongst my top 3 favorite series of all time, that doesn't mean that these outsourced episodes look any better or are less jarring and distracting on the eyes. It takes away from the excitement and intensity of the match, and has already happened twice. (Kageyama's serves look clean at least). Here's to hoping rest of the season is completed with their original studio. |

| I don't usually complain about animation but this was all over the place! It was just too distracting to even enjoy the episode :/ Some parts looked really good and others totally off..it's like two different teams worked on this. |
| In this second set, Karasuno is losing by a big difference but there is still hope. Nishinoya's passion and excitement is always incredible. In fact, Karasuno has to find a way to deal with number 10 of Inarazaki, the handling of his defense is very good. |

ther art was shit most of the time but it got its moments, guess i'll forgive Production I.G. this time just cuz of those few frames that were NOT totally shit like:     i liked the camera angles and movements the most this episodes! haikyuu doesn't use those a lot, but they were great. the animation had its ups and downs, average i guess :/ however, although the art was shit this ep was good and the match was super great! i'm hyped for the captain's (?) appearance, he seems cool :) |

| match better be over by next episode. really good, highly enjoyed seeing suga for just a moment :) the ending though. When their captn is abt to come in my stomach tumbled in a really negative way and I realized that he reminds me of Akashi Seijurou (from knb), and that is NOT a good sign for karasuno. Can't wait to see his badass moves. Like I just said, he reminds me of akashi, so it's most likely gonna be something like "controlling" the other team in some way |

| It feels weird seeing Nishinoya struggling this much when he's usually the most consistent player in the team. I doubt they'll get this set but at least it feels like they are putting pressure on their opponents. |

| Haikyuu is one of my favourite animes but this animation/outsourcing has gotten so bad to the point I can't take it seriously half the time... I think I'll just go rewatch S3 100 times over |

| We are finally back to Karasuno's match, but we suddenly skipped half of the 2nd set??! Wha?! The animation and art quality also took a step back, but at least this episode flowed a lot better than the previous ones. |

| I really miss season 3 :( We need someone like Oikawa-San to comment on the match, even Bokuto-San did not appear in this episode I could watch Kageyama's serves all day honestly. |

| Good episode overall. The animation was a bit off same as Ep. 2. The no. 4 is arriving for the opposite team. This can't be good for Karasuno. |

| it's back to karasuno's match in this episode. atsumu seem to be targetting nishinoya w/ his serves — i love the moment when just as tanaka is about to comfort nishinoya, nishinoya starts doing penalty finger push ups and he seems to be as focused as ever lol. really nice imagery with tsukki 'climbing up a ladder' as he jumps up to block. we also see a focus on suna, who seems to be a pretty interesting character but he's still super annoying :') kageyama's serves towards the end were amazing! i'm super excited to see who the guy w/ the black and white hair is. i don't think we've seen him before this episode. he's also the captain but he hasn't been playing in this match? |

| Man this season is such a massive disappointment in terms of production. How to drop the ball.. off to read the manga I guess. And it’s not just the art or animation thats way below the usual standard, the directing is subpar most of the time and pacing is just off compared to previous seasons. I legit do not feel any excitement watching this match and Haikyuu was probably my favorite sports anime from season 1-3. Season 4 part 1 was fine but a bit boring, but I feel insulted watching part 2. |
