The way he's drawn is so inconsistent, like he looks half-decent sometimes and like a blob other times. Also dressed like an illegal i- oh wait. |

| Saber from Fate is someone who everyone finds cute, but I always thought that she was an average female character. Nami and Boa Hancock from One Piece are average, and I always loved Robin more than the former. Nia Teppelin from Gurren Lagann is also someone who I see that more people are talking about more than Yoko. It’s either I don’t see enough Gurren Lagann fans, or I just can’t find Yoko fans on the internet. |

Uzaki is like an amalgamation of everything that could possibly go wrong when creating a character. Gray, short ugly hair that make her look like a boy while also putting further emphasis on her huge, disgusting looking breasts. And don't even get me started on her eyes and that skin fang. The latter in particular never works under any circumstances. I've at least yet to see a single good implementation of it into a character design. I could care less about others finding her designs offensive or whatever. She's an ugly character in a series that has literally nothing going for it. Anything that could've possibly been interesting or redeemable has already been done much better in other series with characters that are a lot more attractive and compliments their role. |

| A lot of people have already said Rem from Re:Zero, which would have been my go-to as well. In that case... errr... Ougi Oshino? I don't think the show ever particularly sexualises her and her nascent state is more meant to be mysterious and subtly creepy. |
| Most "waifu" bait characters that come out today in shows of 12 to 24 ep counts. A lot of them are more or less cardboard cutouts and when I talk to people who like them, it's like, somehow, just having basic emotions/reactions to stuff counts as "character development" which has me facepalming or cringing. Quite frankly, having basic emotions/reactions to things that happen is just the basics of having any character at all... character development (at least to me) means having a past, a present and a future appropriately realistic to the experience of the character (aka realistic maturation). For example, Flay Alster of Gundam Seed, as much as I dislike this character, had realistic development (though I still fail to empathize with those who feel an affinity towards her, the closest to an explanation I got can be summarized to "I was/am a shitty and petty person too so I felt she was relatable for me"). Then we have Emilia of Re:Zero who is a literal cardboard and Rem from the same series whose development was just unreal (my only hint as to why these characters are liked is just their visual design being appealing to some people, but again, I can't really empathize, but I don't fully dislike these two... since they're not realistically developed, my mind is too confused about what to feel about them). As for males, I rarely have male characters I dislike... when I do, it's usually the main character of a show. In which case, I would dislike them primarily for their notable incompetence as a human being, either emotionally or physically or intellectually or any mix of the aforementioned categories. Though in this case, I usually have greater understanding of why other people like them. |
