| Its painfully medicore. It may not be as bad as Seven Deadly Sins, Boruto and Fairy Tail but its still a empty shell of shounen in terms of productions. Sure the elf/black devil arc its leagues better than the previous arcs but in order to get to the that arc you have sit throughout almost 85 episodes of mediocrity. It didn't help that the visuals, soundtrack and pacing were atrocious completely screwing the competent writing of Black Also the anime butchers a lot of scenes and content. Its a shame because I really like most of the characters as well the world-building and power system I liked the manga but the anime is just poorly directed mess. I hope the show ends after this arc because I don't want to see this poorly managed adaptation become Filleruto 2.0. TV Tokyo needs to let this show go and rest for a while. |

| Its incredibly boring, i would rather watch a terrible anime that i can ironically enjoy, then an ok anime that is boring, its filled with shounen tropes that are done just decently enough so an average shounen jump reader can enjoy it, it has no outstanding features. You would be better off any other battle shounen. |
| Watched the trailer when it was first coming out. Saw one of the kids screeching the entire time. Decided that was all of the Black Clover I was ever going to watch after that. Judging from the score and reception, seems I'm not missing much. |

Also I'm glad I didn't listen to some idiots who comparing it with Fairy Tail "cuz magic", BC is like x1000 times better than this shit. | Poor characters, story world etc. even if we just compare it in the battle Shounen genre. Fight animation is decent but thats just it. Watched the first 70 episodes cause people said it will get better, it got a little better but its still a very bad show. Dropped it now. |

And a long-running one too because not gonna lie, I never have seen an episode of Black Clover in my life except for small clips and previews but I think it's a bad anime. They mostly appear and disappear or the camera is shaking for imitating movement or there are just a bunch a flashy lines spinning around to give the illusion the characters is moving. Not saying the animation in BC is stellar, but if it was a factor for the low score, then it should apply to other badly animated anime as well. |

| it does start off very eh because Asta is kinda annoying with the yelling(it really isn't that loud but it sounds annoying) but after that, it's quite decent and in just entertainment and enjoyment I find it to be top tier, but honestly, the anime is only a decent adaptation apart from the fights, the animation when it's not a fight is very mediocre and some things are overused honestly like Astas star eyes. the fights are amazing though with fluid and fast animation and the moments in two of the big fights where the final hit becomes black and white look amazing and add real impact to the moment. anyway, most of the hate stems from the start of the series with Astas yelling and nothing much interesting and unique plot-wise happening and there are a few similarities to other big shonen such as naruto, bleach and one piece which people criticize it for. Also a positive is that most people agree that all the openings except maybe to newest are insanely good. the end. |

| Some of them hate battle shounen in general, others just have enthusiastic main character like Asta and I think that sums up pretty much all the criticisms I've heard about it. Either it's just Asta or his voice, which I can't relate to on a fundamental level (I'd never drop a show just because I don't like a voice) but whatever floats their boat. Or they just criticize it for the same shit they throw at every battle shounen as if those criticisms somehow become more relevant by repeating them over and over again. Personally I'm not fully caught up (at ep 94) but I've been having a blast with the show so far. It's just a very solid battle shounen, with all the parts you need and it knows what it's doing and as a fan of the genre that's really all I need. |

| As previously said a big part is probably the screaming from asta and maybe that the anime adaption isn't that good. But I have to say that I absolutely love the Black Clover Manga, for me it is one of the best ongoing shounen manga series at the moment |

| Well its is a pretty mediocre adaption of the manga and the animation is questionable sometimes cause of the lack of people working on the anime, but I find it rather enjoyable nonetheless. Manga is A++++++ though. |

| Black Clover had a very rough start and first impression is the most important. It was there when most people dropped it. Most likely due to Asta's unbearable voice and autistic screeching, which over time eventually got better. |
