| Well, with a non-ending like that the heavy criticism this faced is certainly no surprise. I don't see how anyone involved in the series' production could've thought ending it here was a good idea with no accompanying announcement that a continuation was on its way. |
| I still dont get why the government decided to hand over the fate of humanity to a bunch of rando's and mentally deranged people. Wouldnt choosing mentally sound people with actual experience and intellectuals who focuses on different fields have a better chance at surviving a foreign environment. Another weird this is when they wake up theyre in a completely different place far away to the vault they were assigned to, why not just put the cryostatis chambers on the vault itself. I kinda have an idea as to why, but exposing un-armed civilians to the dangers of the new world is counterintuitive to what they are going for. And whats with the 7 man per team? Wouldnt numbers be a good thing here, maybe not as large as what they did on that underground facility but a slightly bigger team will definitely be beneficial in the long run. I also want to point out how dumb that perfect team idea is, members of Summer team A each has a specialization if one person dies then all the knowledge from that field will also be gone. |

| There's no way plot armor Hana is dead, not without the boyfriend reunion, they spent way too much time setting it up. Interesting story. Will probably watch S2 now. |

| the manga must be good considering this horrible adaptation is still a little bit interesting. this is not an ending, of course. but it's even worse than i could have anticipated. the story got a little better after a few episodes and i still want to know what happens, so, i'll watch the rest. but as an adaptation, i haven't read the original source, but i can tell it was a crime. |

| Can't say it felt much like a finale, I know it will lead straight into part 2, but this series definitely does feel jarring at times. That said I do feel it's over-hated, I've been enjoying it. But I do really wanna read the manga if it's supposedly so much better, and I'd perhaps be able to understand the frustrations with this better! |
