| Recap ep leading to the chunnin exams. If you watched the movie, I think you know what's gonna happen. This Boruto series is a whole lot of bull with lazy writing and lazy character design, the only thing that's keeping me here is the first ep. Whenever I'm thinking of quiting it, I remind myself by checking the beginning part of the first ep, Damn they got me. |

| At first I was disappointed that it turned out to be a recap episode but then that bar scene canceled it out... 3/5. Next episode is about Boruto wanting his dad to spend the day with him on his birthday huh? Have we seen a birthday party in the series before Naruto had kids? The only birthday I remember was Naruto's and he spent it kicking the ever living sh** out of Sasuke. No matter how you look at it he probably looks back on it as his best birthday ever. |

Me and my sibling were pissed it was whole episode recap of old footage... We basically skip the whole thing and watched a different anime....
