tf does a relaxed anime feel mean, i didnt realise anime had a feel to it, im watching it wrong, :o :o :o :o :o

also it would really help if you provide proof for your claims =/ where are these people who make such claims, who is that ytber, what are these super weird scenes from the show.

It's good that Slop leveling won the CR awards with such a power gap, Gaijin Weebs don't deserve good anime.
Not after what they did to frieren, kusuriya, and many others

F*ck this thread. Antagonizing and generalizing Chinese works just generate contrarian stances. You want to critique a show? Critique the show. Never generalize an entire country's worth of output based on that. Jesus, if the entire world judges our country based on the Probinsyano TV series, I'd flip.

The Chinese cartoon memes are already generating a whole motherlode of smugness against the community and the meme when Quan Zhi Gao Shou aired.

The kings avatar is definitely the best Chinese anime ive seen.
Highly reccomend it.

And fuk u if you don't watch it cause you don't like the dub.

Give it an episode or 2 and you will get used to it.
Its like japaneese, it took time getting used to so why cant you watch a Chinese anime just because its in Chinese.

Anyway The kings avatar is a highly underrated anime and if china start creating more anime like this i see great things in the future.

Underrated. 8.27. Underrated. The highest rated review vote spammed takes a massive, hilarious reach. Underrated.

Sometimes, a cigarette is just a cigarette, not an entire psychological profile. The anime isn't about eSports? You mean to tell me the summary is misleading?

Then there's the clunky, stilted animation praised as capable of going toe-to-toe with the best of Trigger just because it's not used to animate moe moe ecchi. To quote myself:

Yes, the visuals is well within standards, CGI notwithstanding. Yes, the background looks gorgeous. The anime is certainly pretty when you look at the still frames. Put those in motion however, and it all becomes awkward. It’s grating. The show is so scared of going off-model on the characters and ended up with motion looking stilted instead of overflowing with life and vitality.

People are praising the shows "maturity" and "mature concepts".

It’s a run-of-the-mill redemption action series with the questionable virtue of not having moe or harem elements, which apparently is enough to be praised and loved in this day and age. Claims that the series is mature due to simply having "adult" characters are equally hilarious as attitude and temperament, not age, defines maturity. This is not mature, grounded series by any means. Especially not when your adults are nothing more than upscaled teenagers.

Underrated.

You say unspecialized is too overpower. Did you ever play Ragnarok as super novice it is exactly the same as unspecialized and it is not overpower if you say it then try it playing as super novice and feel it yourself. Since you some newbie only play dota 2 and feel like already play MMORPG like GLORY I WILL EXPLAIN IT (and also dota 2 is consider real-time strategy rather MMORPG if you want MMORPG play game like Ragnarok or Dragon Nest.
First, unspecialized didnt get bonus armor from passive armor skill like other job. e.g:knight is heavy armor etc. SO ITS BODY IS VERY CRUNCHY if novice use it and often gotten hit it'll die in no time.
Second there is no need to explain the WEAPON even weapon like ye xiu can be change to fit the skill used, upgrading it still pain in the ass
Third having many skill like unspecialized arent too special unless still in low level its like having "many handgun without missile" when other job in higher level will have the "missile" skill that will do damage many times rather than low lvl skill unspecialized have.

This year's animated movie Tea Pets is AT LEAST Pixar/Disney level in terms of technical animation, direction, and sound design. It's in the same vein as recent Pixar/Disney movies in terms of content and style.
I really liked The King's Avatar but it is hardly representative of Chinese animation. It borrows a lot from contemporary Japanese anime.
China has a very rich animation tradition that is separate from Japanese animation. Films like Jiu Se Lu or series like Calabash Brothers are stunning examples of 100% Chinese animation without influence from Japan, or aspirations to imitate Japan. Just check out everything the Shanghai Animation Film Studio did in its heyday.
Other series like Xi You Ji and Da Ying Xiong Di Qing are just as good as anime being released at the time, storywise and animation-wise.

Only way to know something is experiencing it . Suppose , if you were new to anime and i recommend you very bad anime , then you will think all anime are bad without actually knowing how great it is .

I recommend " cupid's chocolate " and " rakshasha Street " . They are great Chinese Cartoons or Chinese anime .

As for anime , I believe only the animation made or produced or published by japan can have title of anime . Otherwise it is cartoon , no matter how good . Legend of Kora , for example is amazing cartoon . ( if you like to consider Kora as anime , your choice :D , do not bug me by quoting my post and fighting me over it ) .

I mean lets be serious, China's market is very big and has been investing in many departments & places like the Hollywood for example. If China put anymore focus on their "chinese anime" market, it will sure have an affect on Japanese one too.

You can clearly see the differences in Japanse anime and Chinese ones, luckily Japanese still have the better sides for quite some time. You can laugh off the Chinese anime now, sooner or later they will grow and overtake the Japanese. You can pretty much see those Chinese anime coming out more every year and their duration getting longer also. The fan base increasing very slowly, you can see some members point this and that chinese anime are good.

The amount of Japanese anime will decrease very slowly(due to economy and anime market), when that time comes we will sure bitch about why there are so many Chinese anime going around.

When did I say unspecialized is overpowered? When did I ever mention unspecialized?

Ah, how cute. Assumptions galore. You're explaining to me how games like World of Warcraft works? As the final guildmaster of the glorious, renowned, and now disbanded The Army of Dankness, I hereby send a disturbance in the Force to reach my former guildmates. May they have mercy on your soul.

Did you even read my other post though?

The MMORPG aspect of Quan Zhi Gao Shou is balance-breaking. MC-kun can use over 120 of the basic skills. He also uses a self-made weapon that he continuously upgrades with rare materials. Balancing all of that is developmental hell. Factor in the many gears and skills, and it’ll take forever to properly balance so that only the player skills matter, not the gears with varying degrees of rarity and availability. Player skills has to be the defining factor in a competitive environ, not gear. Of course, not included are races and the attendant racial talents if ever, as well as classes and subclasses. And that’s without me being pedantic enough and including the fact that eSports live or die with sponsorship. Sponsorship relies on viewership.Viewership relies on ergonomics. A multitude of skills and spells that require a dedicated viewer base who can keep track of all of it is not an eSports title game. There's a reason World of Warcraft is not a popular eSports.

Sure. There are MMORPGs experimenting with eSports appeal. Guild Wars 2 comes to mind. But I’m told it makes all the items availabe right away in PvP. There is also a limit of 10 skills, which translates to better ergonomics and viewer-friendliness which translates into eSports appeal which translates into cha-ching which keeps an eSports and its pro-scene alive.

Because my point is that an MMORPG built as a traditional MMORPG is not going to succeed as an eSports title. We're talking economics here, not game experience. Even World of Warcraft, with all its reach, its influence, and reputation failed.

Anime is literally the shortened word animation. Western people literally just removed the -ation and eventually added 'e' to the end. the word Anime was then used by westerners to generalise animation not made in a "white" (western) country. The word cartoon actually meant a picture in the newspaper hiding political messengers. People started saying cartoon to refer to animations made for children or child appropriate.

anime was japanese words and cartoon is older than animation and called it not because it childish, but because it exagrated and wacky (just like cartoon are)... in fact, most of old animation was kind of not child friendly... it was later it become child mainly targetted media (just like picture book used to be)...
