| Depends on the situation. I like a sadistic tsundere if it is meant as a joke, I hate them if they are just sadistic to be sadistic In general I can't stand watching romance anime with tsunderes, Toradora is the only exception, I thought that was a decent anime. |

| I usually don't, but then I remember Helga Pataki and I almost always found her entertaining. Also, her personality was shaped by her environment instead of just having a tsundere be a tsundere as a replacement for actually trying to develop a personality. One tsundere I kinda just deal with and sometimes just pretend he isn't tsundere in the way he's sometimes portrayed is UK from Hetalia. For the sake of my ship. :U I'm not fond of real life tsunderes though-- you're more likely to run into them as kids and it sometimes goes with the whole, "They're just mean to you because they like you" thing, and I thought dealing with it was straight up hell and made me feel awful about myself. Yeah, that'll make someone like you. So sometimes I apply that to anime and it's like, "I feel so bad for the MC/whoever right now. There's no way I'd ever ship this". |
