Ash ketchum and pikachu in tandem, hilariously enough. Because twice.

Once when he tried to ditch Pikachu in the woods, and the clipshow plays of all of their beautiful times, and again when he got fucking pwnt by Mewtwo or whatever happened in the first movie and pikachu was trying to revive him with thundershock.

Cried like a little bitch both times. And rewatching Pikachu's Goodbye with my girlfriend at the time years later, we both cried.

The shows that made me cry the most were: Clannad, specifically After Story, Hanasaku Iroha (especially with Ko and Ohana), and Wolf Children. They made me bawl my eyes way too hard. :(

I felt even more for Makoto while reading the VN. There's a lot more to his actions than what's done in the anime. You legitimately get to see why he's gained such a superiority complex. Even he comes to regret what he does at times.

OT: Probably Kazusa Touma from WA2. Taiga Aisaka from Toradora and Saki Miyanaga and Koromo Amae from Saki gets some consideration as well.

But the thing about anime characters crying for me is that it has to be done once, max twice. That way, it can have an effect on me. Like when Kaname cried in Asukara, or when Rin cried in Free, or when that chick in The Town that We Lived cried at the end.

If characters are constantly crying, than crying loses its value and then I find them rather annoying. Which is why I didnt like Anohana.

If characters are constantly crying, than it just becomes fanservice since the anime community loves to see anime characters cry.

I cried multiple times to nagi no asukara. Damn......but I was so pissed off with the ending couples at the end though. My stomach drops every time I hear the Op or Ed, and its been like a year since I watched it.

Anohana was really great too. And I actually liked the ending for it.

Koe no katachi was an amazing manga and made me cry a couple times.

And you guys should really check out My Girl. Its a masterpiece of a manga that's really underrated. Like I don't know why Usagi drop is so popular. The first time I watched it and read the manga I thought it was pretty good. But My Girl blows it out of the water.
