| Though I haven't watched My Hero Academia in years I've finally decided to come and finish the season, and I'm happy I did though it wasnt the best season yet I personally enjoyed and it had some really solid moments. The animation throughout has been good I guess, it was really good in moments it was needed such as for the finale of the season with Endeavour and hawks vs the Nomu were they went crazy with giving Endeavour the animation he deserves. This episode was spectacular and really improved my view on the season and really redeemed it in my opinion. It went from a 5 to a 7 just from this episode. I really liked seeing Endeavour's character grow throughout this episode with all the cuts to his family and seeing there reactions to him vs the Nomu. Though both Hawks and Endeavour seem very hurt I hope to see them get and see them on screen more again in the future. |

| I am SO thankful this subplot got smooshed into one episode because no matter how well animated the action was, I've been dreading another episode of Horikoshi's favorite character subplot: "Yeah, he's not willing to do the hard work of ACTUALLY apologizing for the harm he's done to his friends and family, but we have another character telling us how all of his actions prove he means well DEEP down, so it's fine and you should like him!!!" Maybe that works for other viewers, but as a viewer who was abused as a child, it isn't nearly enough to make me like Endeavor in the slightest. Apologize and ask the people you hurt how to make amends instead of just doing it in the way that lets you stay in your comfort zone, look cool, and not risk the public scandal that comes with being a public figure outed as an abuser, jerk. "oh but look he visits and brings her favorite flowers" He LITERALLY GAVE HER THE TRAUMA THAT LEFT HER MENTALLY UNSTABLE AND PUT HER IN THE HOSPITAL TO BEGIN WITH. No amount of punching bad guys to badass animation while he quietly laments his mistakes but runs away from any actual, REAL effort to fix them will ever make Endeavor likable on even the most minute level for me, and if we ever have another subplot try it will be too soon. |

| Hawks was so cool! And I can't believe it but Endeavour was so cool too!! It's weird how much he's changed from the flashbacks but I guess 10 years is a long time |
| I FELT THIS! What a great episode. Endeavor might just be my favorite character in MHA, nothing gets me like a father trying to do his best for his kids. As a whole, MHA S4 is one of the seasons that I enjoyed the least. Deku was constantly being put into situation where I do not root for him, I prefer Mirio over Deku, I rooted for Gentle Criminal over Deku, and yet Deku was constantly being put on a pedestal, even though he has shown no unique qualities that others like Mirio have not shown, other than the fact that Deku is the main character in this show. I am also not fond of Deku's fighting style, too analytical, I wouldn't mind if it was not vocalized all the time. The Shie Hassaikai arc could be better, I like how it started with Overhaul, but he was disappointing at the end, it's similar to how I feel about Madara, being upstaged by a lower tier villain. His motive is also questionable. I like the Gentle Criminal subplot, but school festival is one of my least favorite school tropes. It would've been a fun arc if he wasn't taken so seriously by Deku. As it currently stands, S3 > S1 > S4 > S2 |

| I'm not catching the excitement here, probably because the character we're discussing is a total jerk, the epitome of a phony hero who doesn't deserve the title. I'm really waiting for him to die. Hope he drop dead. |
| Yooo hot wings in action! Hawks is the anti-Endeavor yet his faithful stan, therefore a perfect partner. Daddy became a goddamn phoenix there. On a more serious note, apparently for most watchers/readers being almost killed in action and bringing your wife flowers makes you heroic enough. Yeah I get it, the author has to make him likable/redeemable somehow since he's number one, or the merchandise won't sell. So while I'm still fairly surprised to see Endeavor having any fans at all (aside from those only lusting after his bara tiddies) since I find him scarier than the villains, everyone seems to forget that, although she is also a victim, their mother hurt Shoto, too. I hate the toxic masculinity and strenght obsession that Enji embodies, and how they're trying to make the audience forgive what he did, but I can't stand moms who don't protect their kids, either. Being traumatized and hating his father doesn't justify burning your son's face; it's like being raped then mutilating the child because he reminds you of that bastard. Children should have nothing to do with your domestic drama and violence. The whole Todoroki household is hella disturbing to me. I'm sorry you have such shitty parents Shoto. Wish I could adopt you. Those post-credits were dark. Weird way to end a season. |

| It was great to see the other side of Endeavor's personality. He truly let go of his pride and tried to change his ways so that his son, Shoto, would be proud of him. His wife believed in him despite the pain he caused his entire family. |

| Damn, more of this please! I haven't gotten as emotional in this series yet but the direction of this episode was stellar, even the music hit at the right moments. Overall this season has been fine though, the last season was fantastic imo but I feel this season meandered a bit too much. I have high hopes if it can keep delivering these high notes though, it doesn't even always have to be pure epic action either, for example I really loved last episode too. Endeavor definitely stole the highlight this season though with this episode. |

| Endeavor vs High End made for a blazing finish to season 4! It's easy to see how on edge hero society is, everyone went into an immediate panic when they thought endeavor had lost... Good on Tameda for getting everyone to calm down and see that Endeavor was still fighting. Hawks is pretty cool with how he controls his feathers. Definitely a great example of a top hero! The cliffhanger with Deku was really interesting. I can't wait to learn more about this interaction. |
