| Kinda cliched Black Star bit but still good, and kinda had a character change in it. The mecha fight brought back some much needed humor that recent eps have been missing xD |

| It started off with crap. And then went epic. The Black Star/Mifune battle was total BS (funny how his initials are his namesake). What changed? What was his realization? You'd think that humility would be the way to travel the Way of the Warrior. WTF is with this "My Path" being suddenly different from the two? He doesn't sound ANY different from before. So what, he sheds a few tears, empathizes with those who lost, and suddenly that draws him away from the Path of the Demon? BUUUUUUULLL SSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZ. And then the "mecha" battles started, and everything was perfect and right. Silly, insane logic is this series' bread and butter. |
| Black Star was done quite badly. It would've been better if he'd stayed dead, tbh. Or fulfilled his regrets then died. I'm glad they seem to have converted Mifune though. I'd guessed that the Demon Tool collecting would be to make Death City move for a while - after all, the only one matching the Kishin is Death himself, and he can't leave Death City. The mecha battle was hilarious, especially the end. XD |

| Remember, kids, you can always come back from a fatal stab wound or any other major laceration by just yelling a bunch of freakin' crap and come back stonger than ever to defeat your opponent in one easy slash. That fight was so freakin' lame. On the other hand, giant robot castle vs. giant robot city. Epic! |

| the BS vs mifune fight was SOOO F---ing stupid. in the end, he didnt learn anything. in a nutshell it was: f--- you logic, f--- you reality. i'm gonna be god and i'll use any method to reach it. and than out of nowhere he reaches super sayian mode. and thats how he won. i was hoping at the very least he would understand why his dad lost, but than he pulls out a seto kaiba out of his @$$ and goes "screw the rules, i have a giant ego!" |

| A bit of a disappointing episode for me. Black Star never grew on me, but at least now his story is sort of tied off enough to leave it at that. I hope the battle in the next episode will be interesting. |

| wow they really went all out in making this anime original ending as bad as possible didn't they? somehow they made the blackstar fight suck and the giant robot fight was so stupid.... sigh. |

| The sudden appearance of giant robots was handled in a wonderfully whimsical fashion but the humorous tone is poisoned by sharing the stage with Black Star's leaden shonen action drama. Go to hell, ninja boy! |
