Even though nothing happened yet, the vibe is already ripe with a dark creepy undertone. They did a good job making everything feel "not quite right" as Kouichi is trying to figure things out. The animation is amazing. The BGM is also very good. The voices are good as well. The only thing that was out of place was the OP and ED; the OP seemed wonky and silly; the ED was a bit cheery looking and sappy. Other than that everything seems top notch. definitely a show worth watching. |

| Ep was quite boring and disappointing, too many pseudo-horror-elements, which don't really let me take this serious. OP-song was crap, all these 'ali project'-songs sound the same... Still, at least, the ep was a bit interesting. Gonna watch at least the next ep. |

| Wow, impressive visuals. It also seems rather dark, which is a nice contrast to the rest of the anime this season. Also, I noticed during the elevator scene that they skipped the number 4. It's pretty interesting because in the Chinese language, the number 4 sounds like "death". Hence, there are some places that don't have a fourth floor. | Really good first episode, aside from the generic character design and some jarring camera pans. Sound effects are really top notch. I don't care much about Ali Project, I find the ED to be more out of place than the OP. |

| Woah, what can I say? The first episode was pretty creepy and the atmosphere just blew me away, I'm liking it so far. The opening was alright, sounded like Code Geass and the ending was calm, a nice way to end an episode. I love the concept and I am curious to how the plot will roll. I also like all the characters so far, Mei looks interesting and I'd love to know more, and even the classmates too. I'm one of the many people that love thriller or horror animes so I will be sticking around to see the action! :D |

| Very interesting start there. It being a horror show, can't exactly expect it to ramp up the pace any faster. First episode sets up a very nice mysterious atmosphere with class 3 and the death of Misaki. |

| As expected of PA works! i was waiting for this i have a good feeling this is gonna be a slow build up and shit will hit the fan within the last few episodes,and i like the way some people are thinking that maybe Class 3 is already dead but i think if it isn't that it's gonna be based around the deaths of them because after the creepy part when he entered class it was showing what seemed like every student in class 3 but i dunno lol i don't trust anyone in this show right now after watching Higurashi and i'm curious to see where they go with this. |

| The rust is certainly a nice touch. The doll shots were a bit out of place, but I hope there's going to be more of them in general. I think those are the only things that would freak me out in this show. Dolls in general are fucking creepy. |

| I shall share the shitz I wrote earlier. First impression after first minutes was pretty fucking meh. Storyboard is little messy but I guess one can defend that since it's a mystery anime. Director seems to be half idiot. No idea what he is trying to do by inserting random pictures of dolls, flowers and what ever shits just to flash on the screen. Looks really forced to me. Side characters looked like emotionless dolls during first dialog, just standing there like retards. Camera angle changing randomly didn't really made it any better. "Entering to the classroom" -scene was pretty stupid to me. Everyone is like lifeless dolls and next second director decides to put fast paced dialog where they say only random shit to each others and everyone are talkative friends. First episode made somewhat interesting looking settings to it and the atmosphere is there. Oh, and the op was horrible. |

| Not particularily scary, but very, very eerie. The random dolls didn't creep me out as much as how 'off' all the classmates seemed. The way they were totally emotionless and not doing much at all at first, and then nervous while trying to be cheerful was certainly interesting. The OP is pretty bad (although I'm not surprised, because I very much dislike ALI PROJECT), the ED is nice but not very fitting, the rest of the music worked well with the atmosphere. The art, especially the backgrounds, is lovely. I see someone has already added Ookami Kakushi as a recommendation, and I think I'd agree with that so far as it being what I was most reminded of by this episode... but, Another has impressed me far more so far than Ookami Kakushi ever managed to. |

| I don't even have any hope for the horror part, because the bleak, unnatural mood is laid on far too thick and far too early. It just leaves no room for a significant increase in eeriness when one is actually necessary. I just hope there's at least a decent mystery to this. Incredibly disappointing. |

Who in the world runs all the way to the rooftop just for a creepy girl, when they're already talking to someone? lol. Nonetheless, decent start, hope the coming episodes keeps the "WTF is going on" atmosphere that the manga has... |

| To start off, I hated opening song. It felt completely out of place for a show like this. As far as this episode goes, I really liked it. It felt dark, gloomy, filled with unnatural and evil, just the kind of thing I've been hoping for. I just hope they don't let go of that atmosphere for something more "childish". If the show keeps going like this I'm going to enjoy it. And as for ending song, I think it's fine, not really special, but not bad either. |
