| Archbishop after archbishop showing up, Subaru and co. are gonna have their work cut out for them trying to deal with all of this. The Garf stuff was really good, highlight of the episode for me. No matter how tough he is, anyone in that situation where their mom doesn’t remember them would probably react in a similar way. |

| Many more Sin Archbishops are gathering in the city now. The ones representing Gluttony and Lust are only adding to the chaos that's now effecting everyone and while Subaru was able to survive this time, he was severely injured, along with the other citizens present at the time while also being unable to get back Emilia. It does make me respect Beatrice for pushing herself to her limit in healing everyone, Subaru included, before she passed out. Hopefully she'll awaken soon, given the current situation with the Sin Archbishops already controlling key infrastructure of the city itself. Garfiel did go through an emotional moment himself after reuniting with his mother, but she did lose her memories before remarrying to the nice gentleman. You can't help but feel sorry for him as he cried in Mimi's arms on the rooftop. =( Now it's up to him and Mimi to rescue the kids and also find the husband. Things are looking bad right now, so I do hope the pair can succeed in rescuing them safely. |

The anime re-ordered few scenes so that the narrative is more "linear". Archbishop rants and fights shortened, Beako mana drain reason not properly explained, deeper Garf-Mimi interactions cut, etc. And there some "odd indulgences" Like explanation of EMM that could have been done in the Hajimeru Break time. |

| So we’re going archbishop for archbishop in this one. Great episode, went by really fast felt like a few scenes were kinda rushed but overall still really liked it. It’s nice to consistently get the OP in a re zero season too after barely seeing it in season 2 lol. The showdown in the square with Sirius, Regulus and Subaru was dope. Their names both reflecting stars who are the center of their constellations is a cool nod to them being so ideologically opposed and being representative of a particular sin within the witch’s cult. They’re like opposite ends of the insanity spectrum and the poor residents of Pristella caught in the middle. Seeing that injury to Subaru animated was ruff yikes, bro lost half the meat on his leg But the highlight of this ep is no doubt the Garf and Mimi rooftop scene. Absolutely gut wrenching. To live your life thinking your mom’s dead and then find her after all this time and she doesn’t remember you AND has started another feeling.. there’s no words. It’s worse than death, it’s being forgotten that really stings. You kinda get an indication that the mom might remember a little.. in spirit anyway. She knows the tea garfiel likes and then she chases after him on the bridge. And if things weren’t bad enough there’s ANOTHER sin archbishop. Yuki Aoi doing an amazing job already with Capella. Anime onlies should see now why this is regarded as the best RZ arc. This is gonna be amazing. |

| Gotta say that i can never get bored of the OP considering the strong vocals and the visuals. Damm Lye what a way to enter the narrative. As first strikes go the archbishops sure did a great job. Mimi sure can be quite perceptive at times. Loved the bonding between Mimi and Garf though. Beatrice sure ended up being the one that held things together. Sounds like the witch cult has the town in checkmate. Overall a very balanced ep that featured a good blend of action, character intros and narrative progression that set things up for the many upcoming fights this season. |

Literally every Sin is here this is ridiculous, I need Subaru to talk with Gluttony or maybe realise that Regulus was there when Rem got attacked. Its funny that Regulus actually seems like a super nice dude, Like just be polite and your chilling. I mean like I swear he only ever attacked anyone we saw him with because they were rude lmao U know I was wondering when wed see Lust's sin and hell I guess I got my answer. Interestingly some people where theorizing that Sirius is Fortuna which i mean makes sense kinda. She loves Pelteguese and hates Emilia who she may see as Satella considering Pelteguese joined the witch's cult to idk worship Satella or whatever tf they do. | The archbishops of gluttony and lust showed up, emilia is kidnapped, and the woman garfiel met seems to actually be his own mother who has lost her memory. This week's episode really had a lot going on in it. |

| Can someone explain why during the talk in the mansion Rafiel calls her daughter "Onee-chan"? Its clearly audible in the japanese dub. Is it just a weird mistake? The subs also choose something else to show up there |

This isn’t a spoiler I am going to say but it is a theory since S1 and S2. Pride is most likely Subaru.

| You know, when that blast through Subaru's leg happened I thought "oh no, was this just an multiple episodes long loop" but it seems like it keeps going both from his side, Otto's side and Garf's side aka Gorgeous Tiger. It's sad to see him like this but it's good that his beloved Mimi was there for him to have a shoulder to cry on. Archbishop are really weird and having 4 of them at once it certainly going to be a tricky challenge. |

| Regeulus is him. Despite being the worst piece of shit I really enjoy seeing him. Everyone assosiated with greed is guaranteed to be great. Also good job Subaru & Beako for getting a clean hit on him. Huge achivement.  And survived deathless considering what they were up against again well done. Only suffering leg injury to Subaru and mana depletion for Beatrice. I am pretty sure it won't be another Rem case. Oh Emilia got taken as well. Also comedy in Re:zero. Seeing Subaru's invisible providence made wrath think he is Betelguse. That entire three way back and forth between three of was really hilarious. Even Regeulus took shots at her stupidity lmao. Garfield part was genuinely sad. After years of suffering when he finally made peace with her mother's loss, only to see her again and then find out she lost her memories. It's not easy to be Garf. Garf needs love and support, good job Mimi. Good emotional rooftop scene loved that.  Archbishop of Lust straight up calling every meatscraps huh. Simping is pending for now. Four sin archbishop four towers. Only one Reinhardt. Will be interesting and many Subaru deathloops. Brilliant start to the season by far started the best way compared to earlier two. |
