Exactly my thoughts. Everything's just so poorly executed. Hmm, what are we going to do now? Oh, there's a scroll that lays out the plot. State plot. Repeat plot to other characters. Resolve to continue squabbling while humanity is enslaved so you can hold the biggest sword. I can't keep hoping for a simple, fun battle shounen.

Look, they're all unwatchably bad. Do we really need to accurately rank which shit smells the least?

I was referring to the people who give this show a hard time, I mean it not as bad as people make it be and it's nothing special but it was fun and enjoyable at the least with a story, a lore and good characters who are better than these bland harem and isekai characters.

Of course this anime was nowhere near attack on titan or demon slayer but not all animes are attack on titan and demon slayer

The scroll is the best thing to appear out of current 3 episodes. Like the scroll itself can tell me story better than the main character keep screaming about stolen first kill.

I am just not sure how a shonen can be confident about taking first kill out of a demon lord erm...he sounds definitely like a chuninbyou...

What a mess this title is. A severe disappointment. I'd literally rather follow the adventures of Takeda and his merry gang than those of the two cardboard bores we got stuck with as the mcs.

each episode is better than the previous

i was assuming those 2 would leave with the band but i guess their destiny lies elsewhere. i'm sure they'll all reunite eventually

the scroll and the crystal and all that is neat. it said 100 kishin. but didn't those dumbass slave masters say the kishin/oni were reproducing and their numbers have grown?

gonna bump this to a 7/10
