| I haven't had much cash lately, so I've been hitting the Black Friday sales the last couple of years, which has brought me some decent titles (and... some not so decent titles). And a portion of those are single volumes, like movies or OVAs of stuff that never got long runs. After Geneon went down, I did buy up a bunch of their stuff fearing it wouldn't be found again, like the way the "Sailor Moon" box sets suddenly went from $100 to $400 for a time. Of course, that did NOT happen this time, and had I actually waited I would have gotten them much cheaper than I did. ^^; But the Black Friday sales helped a lot, as well as some other Right Stuf sales. This last BF I picked up something like $700 worth (based on the original sale price on their site) of anime for about $120 through Right Stuf. But right now this is my only option to get new anime, as I can't afford to get the stuff I REALLY want as it comes out (I've been dying to pick up Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, K-On, Azumanga Daioh, the reissue of Nadesico, and Gakuen Alice, among others). And with Bandai going away, I know I'm missing my chance at some of those if I don't hurry... |

I buy all the cheap anime first and work my way up to buying the more expensive ones and while I'm buying the cheap ones over time the expensive ones price will drop and when they do I'l get them but that solely depends if it's cheap enough. |

| I don't tend to buy anime, unless I reallly like them and I want to rewatch them over and over again or it's practically impossible to watch it online. That's what happened to me with FMAB. My computer was incredibly slow when showing FMA and it was horrible because I needed a whole hour to watch a 20 minute episode. In the end, I ordered the movie, The Conqueror of Shambala, and all 5 DVDS of FMAB by Amazon. I don't regret doing so, because I had a lot of fun watching them in the TV every night. I also own the first season of Code Geass, my favourite anime. |
