It was a nice episode (apart from that not-too-impressive CGI... again), that ghost girl is bitchy but I like her, and poor Denji man, his first kiss would traumatize the strongest, baddest, alpha male on Earth, it would even traumatize fucking Kratos and make him stop killing gods and live in his grandma's basement. I say Denji took it like a champ and as the champ he is, will score that same day.

Well, this is it Denji, time to make your wish come true, I think you deserve some hot sweaty sex after all the shit you went through.

I have no words about this episode... After Denji defeats the devil, they all celebrate. Himeno just straight out kissed Denji in front of Makima and now, SHE JUST THROWS UP IN HIS MOUTH!!! It's a good thing a looked away cuz if I keep watching it happened, I might throw up too. I just had good meal and now it just shows it at the ending scene. NO NO NO!!!

Other than that, I gotta say the fights animation didn't felt awkward with the transformation from this episode. This is how it is SUPPOSED to be in the first place.

This still puzzled why ep 1 had full blown CGI Denji in Chainsaw mode.

My stomach hurts after watching that puke scene but I can't deny how well animated half of the Himeno and Denji scene on bed, looks beautiful af. Ending has some kinda retro feel to it which I really love.

Well, here we are. The infamous vomit scene from the manga.

It's hilarious to see that Mappa censored the vomit coming out of Himeno's mouth unto Denji's.
Way to go!! Woohooo! Hooray for censorship.

Then fast forward to the ED where they show the vomit with vibrant colors lol. What on earth?!

Overall, pretty good episode. The fight scene with chainsaw man and the hotel eternity devil was a bit too dark red for me. Couldn't really see much going on tbh.
Kinda disappointed ngl lol. Manga was a lot better.

Love the "kanpai!" celebration with squad 4 division. Everyone deserved it. It's on the house on Makima's tab. Woohoo!!!

This episode is legendary Himeno I love you.
It takes Denji's level as a character to another level for anime. Now I was tired of the characters playing the pure hero and we got rid of it with Denji.

Bu bölüm efsane Himeno seni seviyorum.

peak anime must be used ironically from now on because this was terrible.

The fight against the devil was awful. Denji just hacked long enough for the devil to offer its heart and be put out of its misery??? and we didn't even see much. the animation is strange and blurry, making the fighting look wonky. Also, the entire team was just watching denji without doing anything to help him? that makes no sense

Then the puke kiss was nasty.

Clearly the scared girl who didn't reveal her devil contract will be strong.

The more episodes I watch of this anime, the more I feel Fujimoto was a victim at Denji's age. The emotion when he's puking felt way too genuine to not be a personal experience. Guy was straight up crying.

The fight with the eternity devil was ok but underwhelming. The directing felt kinda dizzying and the conclusion was anti-climactic.

And then the ending scene with Himeno and Denji. Maybe she's doing this as a way to get answers from Denji regarding his powers? My guess is he'll reject her advances to show that he's not the solely sex-obsessed character we were introduced to. That's what usually happens for this type of situation in order to show character development.

Hoping episode 6 won't be the peak of this anime. A little disappointed.

one of the most iconic moments in chainsaw man's manga got animated, and boy oh boy did it live up to our expectations, it SURPASSED THEM.
hoping for the scene to be uncensored in the blu-ray version, actually i am not hoping, i know for a fact that the scene will be uncensored in the blu-ray because i already know how mappa does their work.
mind blowing episode as always, the 90's anime feel of the ending was a cherry on top, it was foretold that mappa will deliver, but we never actually grasped how amazing this is until we saw it with our eyes.

You don't need to worry. Episode 6 won't be the best episode of this series. The next episode is gonna change the entire dynamic of this show. It begins the first major arc of CSM. Everything so far was just introduction.

Denji will be in CGI in close-up shots to show the movement of the chainsaw. There's no way you can animate both his head (which is moving) and the chainsaw (which is moving too) at once

Denji had to defeat the devil of Eternity, and three days later he did it. It was great.
And they had a welcome party for the newcomers, and finally Himeno kissed Denji...a kiss he will remember a lot hahaha.
That the scene is censored is understandable...but it's still noticeable xD
Well though, the final scene with Himeno...it's going to get interesting.
Good chapter.
Seventh ending, year - "Chu,Tayousei."
This ending was really cool, both the song and the animation. The retro aesthetics very good.

un desastre de adaptación en todos sentidos
-mala animación
- malos seiyuu
- mala música (ahi se pasaron)
- reescritura de personajes
-reescritura de guion(???????????)
-malinterpretación de los temas que trata el manga
- horrenda composición y dirección y
-lejos lo peor: censura en todos los capítulos

decir que es peor que berserk es una ofensa a ese estudio ya que la adaptación de chainsaw man es lejos la peor adaptación de anime que se ah visto jamás y que se vea en 4k no cambia absolutamente nada
