Mado and Amon definitely feel like some pro hunters, it's going to be a tough time if Kaneki and the rest encounter them

Some flamboyant guy appearing at the end, smells like trouble

MC less annoying = show more enjoyable

Fetching the dead bodies of jumpers. Bonding with that younger girl. The murder spree doves (they're on "boss mode"). This eccentric red suit guy.

Post credits was lame again.

So there are 2 new characters at the Anteiku cafe from what it seems the doctor's wife and daughter

Kaneki and Touka went to get Kaneki a mask for when he gets ready when he will eventually meet a "Dove", Kaneki and Hinami's relationship grew a lot lately and the way they communicate is fascinatingly cute together

We meet a new character in the end and a flamboyant attitude it seems.

The skit in the end is about Touka having the fear of birds it was kinda hilarious to see Touka having her fears known.

How humans recover so fast from fatal blows in this anime? Hide was almost kicked to death one night and was totally fine next day.

maybe I'm just too old for Shonen tropes, but the show just reeked of tropes, and unnecessary hysteria over simple moral dilemmas. It tries too hard to be "shocking" and "dark" but it fails to deliver any real connection to the characters.

I love getting to know more of the ghouls! I love how even though they're ghouls they're not bad people. Hinami is so cute and the mask maker guy is cool. :D (also the guy they introduced at the end is giving me Hisoka vibes)

I like this episode, because it definitely shows how the "good ghouls" live out their lives to survive amongst the humans. I definitely did not expect them to eat "suicides". But it's definitely considerably better than actually killing someone. Also I like the mask maker guy as well. XD

Censorship is the worst thing ever. The sad thing is that it will probably just lead to an increase in the manga sales, which just prompts other adaptations to do the same.
@Link_of_Hyrule This. definitely.

Okay episode.

The trend of mediocre episodes continues after the masterful first episode.
I understand this level of genius cannot be kept up in every episode (or can it?) but errors and illogical contradictions seriously harm the impact and appeal of the story.

Episode 3 of *Tokyo Ghoul* builds on the tension and intrigue of the series with a gripping narrative and captivating character moments. This installment delves deeper into the complexities of the world, offering a blend of suspense, emotional depth, and character development.

The episode opens with a dramatic scene that sets the tone for the intense interactions to come. We see the contrast between the seemingly serene world of Anteiku and the darker, more brutal aspects of the ghoul world. Yoshimura's explanations about Anteiku's role and its unique approach to human-ghoul relations add layers to the show's setting.

Kaneki’s relationships with other characters are explored further, highlighting both the threats he faces and the bonds he forms. The introduction of new characters and the continuation of existing storylines keep the narrative fresh and engaging.

The animation quality remains top-notch, complementing the series' strong storytelling. The episode's ending sets up intriguing developments for the future, leaving viewers eagerly anticipating what's next.

Overall, Episode 3 is a compelling continuation of *Tokyo Ghoul*, offering a mix of suspenseful moments and emotional depth. It's a must-watch for fans of the series and those new to the show alike.

That's the expected alternative to killing humans to eat. Almost thought the anime was going to omit just how the Anteiku cafe procures the human meat they need (?) to consume. Suppose suicide victims are less likely to have any family members querying where their bodies disappeared to as well, although that is very much still going to happen at some point.

Hinami was eating the meat raw, but I wonder if ghouls still experiment with cooking human flesh, or is their palate truly animalistic?
