| The scene of Denji and Nayuta was really sweet, Denji is trying to find his purpose in life without Chainsaw Man I also appreciated the return of Family Burger, Kobeni probably doesn't work there anymore though lol It looks like we will finally start to see just how crazy the Chainsaw Man Church is, more of the weapon people that we saw in part 1. I'm assuming things are going to start getting wild! |

| No dialogue nor words are needed in the first few panels to describe the loneliness that Denji feels. He feels bored that he can't turn into Chainsaw Man! As Chainsaw Man, he's born to live a crazy life. When he's placed into this mundane life, Denji's life got sucked out of him! And that's really hard for this guy who loves the excitement of the fights he's been through on Part 1. Nayuta saying, "Meow're hopeless...Li'l Denji" is adorable and all. But, she's the deterrent that keeps Denji as a human. Also, the Family Burger joint reminds me of the burger joint that Kobeni worked for in Part 1. I can't help but draw suspicions on these Chainsaw Man Church members: allowing the devils to go freely just so Denji can finally transform in Chainsaw Man! |

I wonder what thats a metaphor for...hmmm.another great chapter. im gonna throw a little theory out here, just a vague prediction; in denjis first appearance in part 2, he was presented with a really silly spider-man esque choice about picking between 2 awful choices. save a single human, or a car of humans. however, in that chapter denji picked an unpredictable third option, to save a cat! denji after that chapter has basically been facing a very similar choice. choose a chainsaw man life, or choose a normal, peaceful life. different factions in the story are trying to get denji to pick on or the other, and seemingly by forceful means as shown in bartum. both options are equally conflicting for denji. so, my theory is, what if that initial chapter is foreshadowing for this entire character conflict? what if denji ends up picking neither? and what will the cat be in this scenario? hint: that denji reveal chapter was named "save the cat". the chapter in the falling devil arc where denji saved asa was named "save the asa". get what im saying here? Can't think of anything, nya're still hopeless.... Denji.. |

| Hayakawa Family 💕. Denji may lose the excitement that he once had being chainsawman, but Nayuta wil always be there for him in the most thoughest of times. Love this sibling relationship they have. It also goes to show that no dialogs in manga panels can at times, be more impactful in scenarios that portrays numbness to its character/s. Lastly, Im guessing that the csm church will go ape sht in the public and go on a killing spree, which draws Asa out and will try killing her, which will put Denji in another conundrum (since Nayuta is on a death-trap if Denji transforms in-order to save Asa). Not only that, it could lead to the world hating Chainsaw man (bcuz of csm church), making Denji's life even more miserable than it already is. It could happen since Fujimoto's resume holds up to its reputation to have fcked up story scenarios; evidently part 1 (Aki and Power). |

| 3/5 A setup chapter with unnerving consequences. Something's definitely boutta go down and it ain't gonna be pretty Denji is trying to enjoy his normal life with Nayuta but just can't seem to get comfortable. The choices are still hanging above his head and one little miscalculation could wreck his life again. He tries to console himself but it's getting harder by the chapter where the stakes are higher than ever. Nayuta tells him that she'll always be by his side, which is comforting but haunting at the same time. The storytelling in the first half was brilliant with no dialogues, a bread & butter of Fujimoto's at this point The weapons are casually chilling in Family burger, too many nostalgia hits in this chapter with little threads like buns, locations, characters etc. They apparently wanna go "NO RUSSIAN" mode which is terrifying. Sugo is still a wildcard in this one tho, Whip & Spear get introduced, 0-100 next chapter?? ~~ |

| At least Denji has Nayuta. Looks like the big plan to bring out chainsaw man is going to begin soon, even saying they'll go as far to kill people...Denji was right to not join up with that church. |

What you on about bro☠️, nayuta's the one Keeping him intact right now , Denji would be a mess if there was no nayuta in his life, honestly i care not for chainsaw man , As long as denji Gets to be Happy chainsaw man can just disappear for good. Im sure lil pochita Would want that too. Rather than the killing machine chainsaw man , The happy denji is better....But it seems He's not so happy right now ... He'd be goner if there was no nayuta to keep him together, seeing How he's struggling currently.
| @Saiaku27 Yes, you are right: he is struggling. He's depressed right now, but his heart / core right now is Chainsaw Man. And what Chainsaw Man does best is ripping and killing; that is why, Denji feels soulless right now. He feels depressed and empty even though Nayuta keeps him intact. |
