| Cowboy dude's list is almost certainly not real. If you visit his past profiles via Wayback Machine, and measure the difference in completed count by time gaps, it's unbelievable. This person's supposed to on average add 5 anime entries per day from May 2014 all the way to July 2015 every day without fail. Or watch on average 8 hours per day from May 2013 to Jan 2014. And he's supposedly consuming manga at a similar rate as well. Pretty much undoable unless you're doing 4x speed or the most dysfunctional person to ever live. |

No, they must have 2 or 3 lifes to dedicate to this, damn. Anyways, you know, we can just fake the MAL list. It is easy for me to just put "complete" in thousands of series. Do we gain some prize after have a profile with thousands of watched series? |

| That one's clearly bugged, though. 4000 anime isn't that many, but they have 11.4k days. They have Lan Mao (which is 3000 episodes) down as being rewatched 100 times and there might be others in their list like that too. |

| I usually get skeptical if most people's lists if they have way too many and I don't believe they truly watched them all. Then again, it makes me wonder if my numbers could've been doubled if I didn't play video games too much instead and after watching so much anime already I feel, I tend to get bored of most anime these days and become more picky with what I watch unless I'm playing video games and grinding in one instead. Otherwise I once came across a mod who had every single anime on their list which I know is definitely not really them having watched them all without maybe viewing multiples at once (which I don't count as truly watching the full anime either if you have 5 on the go at once since your attention is way too split and you just get the gist of it - same thing as reading summaries or wiki pages) Last I checked too there's 20k or maybe more now within MAL database of all anime. |

Check your last updated list on your profile. I see many on there where the numbers are quite high for episodes complete. Go back and edit those for how many times watched or whatever if you want a more accurate count. |
