Reveal was off but that could be due to the audience knowing about it all along, but the deed was totally worth it. I think I've figured out the problem I have with this one, the characters are overly portrayed as simplistic and any depth their supposed to seemingly have is played off as a joke or trope without much effort. Nearing it's end, I'm thoroughly unimpressed here. I'll give it one thing tho, and it's that when it's in full on serious mode, it's totally worth it, everything else falls apart out of that context.

The team work to defeat Kaiju n°9 was already really good but that ending was over the top!! Kafka being forced to transform into Kaiju n°8 in front of everyone and reveal his secret to punch and save them from that HUGE explosion was absolutely epic, I loved it! And now he's under arrest though

Very good episode, nice to find someone who likes your skills and doesn't look down on you.
Interesting that the suits/users have a time limit to use the maximum power (maximum they reach).
This unknown Kaijuu came quite prepared, if it had attacked with more help... maybe the result would be very different from what we saw.
It seems that in the end Kafka had to show his power, it was obvious that it was going to happen at some point.... what to happen with him? for my experiments and/or cooperation with the team but the latter I guess it will take time for obvious reasons, unless the situation calls for it... we'll see.

PS: I love that Kafka shines with a single hit, brings back fond memories of OPM

I don't understand all the hate for this awesome anime.
I guess the we should ignore most of the reviews and trust the rating!
It draws from so many other shows and succeeds in making us care for the characters, a Solid 8.
Going into the last 2 eps hoping for SE2 soon!.

This episode was pretty good. There were some moments where the animation was lacking a bit, but it was short, so it didn't bother me. For the most part, the animation was great. So far, I'm not complaining about the animation; it has been great in every episode.

I still don't like the OST in this anime, the OST is weak, especially when the MC transforms, that OST is quite the cringe, and I wish the MC Kaiju reveal was better, but oh well, at least the episode was great.
