| I feel like Fern is only acting polite on the surface, but Stark sometimes brings out her true and harsh self lol Guess we'll eventually see another elf in this season, which would be a special occasion even for Frieren. Seems like humans do need elves around to see the true nature of demons, lies and perception. |
| Clearing out the landslide for the the travling merchant and the future ones to come was kind of Frieren and them. The little town with the statues of the Heroes was an interesting place and it was nice to see the people of the town still celebrating the heroes. Frieren asking that man if they would still celebrate the victory of the Heroes in 100 years was an interesting topic and it made me wonder how long they would celebrate the victory. I personally hope its forever as i love Himmel and i wanna see more of him in flashbacks. The town with the deomns was quite fascinating and it had me quite confused when the guard stopped Frieren from attacking. Frieren being locked has me worried and that demon pulling up at the end has me even more worried. The scene with the King talking about how his son died to the demons and how he was gonna enact revenge had me hyped, i personally really like the king and its tragic he was fooled by the demons. The flashback with the demon child and the town of people was quite cool and seeing Himmel slice off her hand in one quick motion was quite cool and Frieren finishing her off. |

| We got to see more of the party's dynamics in the beginning of the episode, which was wholesome. However, the highlight of this episode is the story from when Himmel spared that Devil's life, because "it was only a child, that is calling for its mother" and "she can talk, so she can negotiate with us", and that ended up with the death of the vilage's chief, because the devil wanted to gift his child to the mother of the child that the demon previously ate. We never saw Himmel in that state, and honestly that made that scene so intense, especially with the revelation that demons don't even have paternal figures, so the demon only called "mother", because it knows that for some reason it will make humans spare the demons... That's so dark... And now, with what's happening in the city, the exact same thing happened, the demon saw what was meaningful for humans, and made up a story of how he also had a room like that for his father, which is a lie, since demons don't even know the meaning of father... The way they are just monster, without a single drop of emotion, that can just talk and manipulate humans makes demons so much scarier... And now one of the demons is going to try to kill Frieren, because she's the only one that saw right through them, and knows that they just want to kill humans, and use word to perceive them... At the end, if Frieren doesn't put a stop to this, the whole city is going to be destroyed by the demons... Can't wait to see the next episode! This anime has been amazing so far! |
| Oh Lord please help me. Hear my prayer... I just want this to be over. I don't want to watch another episode- please let it be over It's not over. Ok so the wanderers wander to a town. I don't recall the name of the town, but it's another generic D&D fantasy prop that looks like every other one done since the 1980s- so that. They encounter a guard at the gate, of course it has a gate, and a guard, who tells them they can't enter. But then he lets them enter. There's probably something I missed there, but no way am I rewinding and watching this boring shit over so fuck it- the scene didn't make sense but on to the next scene- They walk around and talk in monotone. Yes they did that last episode. And the one before that- but this time something sort of happens- as they're walking, Frieren sees some tall men coming around the corner and jumps into a fighting pose. She tries to take a shot at them, and seeing with shots fired- the police respond immediately and go to tackle her. And I swear, God is my witness- as they tackled Frieren to the ground HER FACE STAYED EXPRESSIONLESS I could not stop laughing. It was especially funny because I don't think it was meant as comedy- and that just made me keep laughing!!!! I still am now- I confess I did rewind it a bit just to see a double take! So the guy with horns walks up to her and speaks in a very kind but intimidating way, so he's a demon, and she isn't impressed by him (nothing impresses her bro, so don't sweat it) and so it's telling us this demon has taken over the town. Ah- she knew something was up! Then in the next scene she's sitting in a cell, and says the following line: Are you ready for this? Frieren: "I'm bored." I fell off the couch. DID YOU HEAR THAT??? The chick who doesn't know what a smile is, or a laugh, or a frown, who walks around drawling in monotone for SIX EPISODES STRAIGHT in a show where almost NOTHING has happened that entire time SAYS SHE'S BORED!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me!! I can't take anymore! There is no amount of fentanyl in the world to make this show interesting. And now it's MOCKING ME! Screw you Frieren! You and your boring ass show! |

| Quite the episode. Carnage is surely about to ensue. Though the factions ar enot quite clear yet. Humanity might be foolish enough to side witht the demons against Frieren about what is going to happen with this hot blodded youth. I must say the show really nails the feeling of revisiting places post-game in a videogame. |

| I was going to watch this last night and maybe watch episode 8 which I'm going to watch with dinner tonight however it was 2am and school was starting back up so what a shame. Anyway this episode was cool the main thing i remember is the demons, Demons are fucking scary man oh my goodness like creatures that look like humans and are masters of manipulation? I mean that's horrible and we saw it in Acton, Frieren detected the demon and tried to kill it but maybe intentionally? didn't get to shoot in and got put into the dungeon. We also got this cool flashback which i personally like this kind of stuff, This really reminds me of Vinland Saga I hope we get another Vinland Saga. That demon girl was scary Mimicking the things that humans say to make them feel for them and emphasize which i think is genius man smart tactics honestly. Anyway the demons manipulated the king into peace talks like holy fuck man. Everything is going how Frieren said it would and i reckon that town is gone for. Anyway Episode 8 is going to be consumed by me soon enough so yay! |

| I find it hilarious that this episode has like 7 instances proving that demons are in fact, lying scums who's only goal is to kill humans. Yet they are still many people going "Ackchyually, we cannot trust Frieren's words for sure because she has ancient xenophobic ideals and the demons can communicate then that's the proof demons shouldn't be stigmatized like other monsters" Imagine being so brainwashed by globalist propaganda you're getting manipulated by FICTIONAL CHARACTERS who state that they ARE MANIPULATOR THEMSELVES. This isn't even vague morality, it's pure black and white manicheism, demons are evil by nature and both cannot and will not change. So once again, demons, or as I like to called them, deggers, should all be purged and eliminated like the filthy evil subspecie they are and those who comes to their defense should also be hanged and burned at the stake for daring to defend a race of lowly deceitful creatures, in any case, those demons will eventually kill them by themselves. |
| The one thing that keeps this show's episodes consistently t a 4 and below to me is the lack of action that takes place that's either symbolic or entertaining. Other than that, everything else this show carries with itself is pretty flawless I'm not gonna lie. I'm stoked to see the next episode :D |
