| PEAKLAND SAGA STRIKES AGAIN Thorfinn has reached a moment where he has no choice but to fight. It's no surprise. His ideology clashes with the way most people around him live. Thorfinn can still become a true warrior. He needs to fight, this time not for vengeance, but to protect something he stands for. God the moment Thorfinn got into a stance and Snake got chills was so fucking great. I got chills too man! And then the realization that it's actually the stance that Thorfinn used to have with daggers. Complete with the shot of young Thorfinn in that stance. Now Snake knows Thorfinn is no ordinary slave. Askeladd Force Ghost is always appreciated. Also shoutout to Sverkel, he's a real bro Next episode will no doubt be great... |

| 3.5/5 A great episode with some really powerful VA performance and notable hand animations Arnhed fills in Einar & Thorfinn with the ploy to save Gardar. Like I said earlier, Excellent performance from her VA. Sverkel is helping Gardar out of pity which is understandable. His philosophy of being unlucky is not too far-fetched. Einar is a good man for standing up for Arnhed and her happiness even though he probably has a thing for her The hand animations this season has been somewhat of a regular staple this season and it was more apparent this episode than ever. The twist of Gardar being under the bed even caught me off guard a bit, so must've been Snake when he realised and hurried towards the farm after halting his horse. Snake is definitely hell bent in revenge for his men and immediately threatens Thorfinn. Askeladd shows up once again, which is always a treat & much appreciated. His essence still lives on through Thorfinn as he dodges a beautifully animated sword section and emulates his classic war pose but this time... with NO weapons but only his fists. Truly a warrior in the making Looks like snake vs thorfinn next episode so pretty excited ~~ |

| Arnheid's VA gave a wonderful performance. Japanese VAs are skilled and talented in general, but it wouldn't be an overexaggeration to say that Mayumi Saco as Arnheid has expressed emotions in a way you don't hear often in anime. |

| That was a great episode. Thorfinn and Einar's plan almost fooled SNake but he caught on to it. Bro is extremely sharp. Thorfinn chose to use his power in order to help someone even if it meant hurting them. Still, it's pretty damn clear that he'll not kill anyone further on in this series. He's above all that. Snake recognizes Thorfinn's stance. Did he meet him on the battlefield when he was younger? I believe that Gardar will wake up any moment now and disrupt the fight while also fleeing away with Arnheid. |

| That’s a very risky situation, he’s inside the house, and the moment he wakes up he's going to cause chaos for sure. Einar is such a great person, I’m always surprised by his actions. Oh hell nah, Snake is going back. Thorfinn I think it’s time. You need to fight, you need to help them escape. |

| Great episode overall, this felt like such a big choice for the majority of the cast since it will majorly effect them in way that there is no turning back from. So Arnehid really did free Gardar, they really show her remorse and emotions really well to explain why she would, Einar wanting to help both them escape was foreseeable but i won't lie i was a bit shocked that Thorfinn also wanted to help. But that does make for some really good character building on his part, and overall Einar and Thorfinn are risking a guaranteed future of freedom and employment to help which says a lot. My respect for the Old Master has also increased ten folds, they've made him a really likeable side character. His decision as well to helping Arnehid and Gardar as well as his statement to Snake about how Slaves also says so much about his character. For Thorfinn this these like an especially big decision, he chose the path of non violence and to help others but is faced with a dilemma were the only way he can help others in this situation is by resorting to a form of violence even if non-lethal. Really liked that Askeladd was there as a representation of Thorfinn trying to weigh out both options, dude might be dead but he still by Thorfinn's side giving him advice. That ending scene of Thorfinn forming his stance as well against Snake was so hype. |

| I won't lie, I sympathize with Arnheid after all the shit she's gone through, but you can't dismiss her stupid decision to free her ex-husband. She was swayed by emotions and deluded by dreams of far-stretched fantasy. Know your place, slave. Thorfinn is at a crossroads, what course of action should he take to become a true warrior, and what action did he took? IS TO FIGHT SNAKE!!! RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH |
