Yes!!!!!! The Chicago Cubs are the champions!!!!!!

This has to be one of the most crazy baseball games I've ever seen. The suspense through this game nearly gave me a heart attack, but the Cubs pulled through, and won after 108 years. Great job Cubs, you earned it.

You're the "Lovable Winners" now!

Unbelievable series, coming back from 3-1 like that. So glad I got to see it.
The football field isn't the only place where you could use a good line.

IM ONT THE VERGE OF CRYING
HEY CHICAGO WHAT DO YOU SAY
THE CUBS ARE GONNA WIN TODAY

Oh maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear
The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair
Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns or our nothing places
But we're trash, you and me
We're the litter on the breeze
We're the lovers on the streets
Just trash, me and you
It's in everything we do
It's in everything we do

CLEVELAND blew a 3-1 lead.
warrior fans waited so long to say that...
"waited" has 6 letters, the cubs won 3 of last 3 games. 6-3=3.
there was 1 world series winner.
3-1.
the warriors still blew a 3-1 lead

Cleveland may become the first and only sports team in history to comeback from a 1-3 start in the NBA finals and drop and blow a 3-1 start in Baseball IN THE SAME YEAR

Cubs fans, please enjoy this moment for me. When the Seahawks won the Super Bowl in 2014, I never knew the sweetest feeling of championship. I rooted for you the whole time when the Mariners got eliminated from the playoffs, I wanted something magical to happen, and it did. Championship is the sweetest feeling in sports, and you're 108 years overdue. You definitely earned it. What a game, what a series, what a season.

Fly the W, Chicago. Fly the W.

So...that's it...no more stupid "Sports curses".

The Red Sox ended their "curse" back in 2004

The White Sox ended their "curse" in 2005

The city of Cleveland ended their "curse" when the Cavs won...

And now the biggest "curse" of them all is over too.

So everyone STFU, I don't want to hear anymore superstitious bullshit.

I don't want ANYONE, I don't give a single fuck who you root for, complaining about anything.

Every major city has won at least one major Championship in the past 10 years or so...

So, yeah...

San Diego, Houston, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Atlanta, Washington DC, and Toronto want a word with you.

I said every MAJOR city...not scrub cities!

*(I honestly forgot about those)* :b

DC is the only one of that bunch that surprises me though....Toronto are forever losers and Canadian so yeah....and the rest don't have the 4 major sports teams so they're at a disadvantage.

Fine...I'll retract my statement.

If you live in NY, LA, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Miami, Seattle, Cleveland, San Antonio, Oakland or Baltimore....

Then one of your major sports teams has won a Championship in the past 10 years....you got to taste what it's like to be a champion.

As for the rest of the nation...Fine, you guys can bitch a little bit more.

Me throughout the game:

/jk

After recovering from that rustling last night (it certainly helps being the reigning NBA champs), I'm still very proud of this young team. They did what no one thought was possible through all the injuries. They just ran out of juice at the end but I can't blame them. The team is young and mostly locked up so hopefully we can make this a yearly tradition (just like a Cavs-GSW Finals). My biggest concern is Napoli. He's a FA and was awesome during the year, but, maaaaaaaaaan, did he suck massive amounts of dick during the entire postseason...

Well, that's all the US curses, however there's the "Curse of the Colonel" which is believed to have stopped the Japanese baseball team, the Hanshin Tigers from winning the Japan Series championships since 1985.

One of their curses, the indians have almost a 70 year championship drought.
