Ok guys, which volume of LN to start reading from this point?

@HansDevX Volume 17 but I recommend you should enjoy watching the anime version first otherwise it's gonna ruin your experiences somewhat. I mean, you can enjoy unpredictable plot by not reading the source material

@DirtyOldGuy I love reading, but I've been avoiding the novels for this exact reason. They do SUCH a good job with the adaptation, it feels like it would be wrong to read the LN

I don’t think they skipped that much, aka most of what skipped was internal dialogue, which wouldn’t be good in adaptation. So I think you should expect them to skip things that wouldn’t help as much in adaptation wise. There are things I am mad they skipped but I do criticise it. In this episode however? Not really

Now this is what I'm talking about, this episode was amazing and I loved it, and Subaru wasn't being his usual cringe self with his happy-go-lucky attitude which is the thing I dislike the most about this anime, I prefer this version of Subaru, he's serious and trying to get shit done, it's ok if he fails since he won't succeed every time, but I want him to get serious and this episode delivered so I have no complaints.

And did my eyes deceive me? did Reinhard die when he killed that crazy girl? well damn, not even Reinhard can force his way to victory, you need a strategy to defeat those crazy guys, I wasn't expecting Reinhard to die like that but if he did then those guys are a lot more dangerous than I thought.

And even the comedy was great in this episode, I don't usually like the comedy in this anime but I laughed when Subaru headbutt the singer, followed by Betty saying to improve her ugly wink, that was golden, never change Betty.

The animation in the fight scene was average but I don't mind, everything else made up for it, I'm not watching this anime for the action scenes anyway, as long as it doesn't deteriorate and get worse than this then I don't mind, it was serviceable for this type of anime.

5/5 episode.

@xZabuzax Reinheart didn't die , he's just shocked he killed this many people.
I think he has blessing to immune to curse/ brainwash too (he immune to most attacks/ status ailment, almost nothing can harm him)

I was expecting him to grow after S2, but seeing him still being somewhat of a coward after going back makes me feel conflicted at his growth as a character.

Anyway... Emilia is serious epic! She can dual-wield, use a spear, etc!!! SINCE WHEN? She's so adorable stepping up her game!

@Ventus_S He didn't die? weird, it kinda looked like he did, when Reinheart killed the crazy girl, he saw everyone else being cut in half too, then he looked back and saw Subaru dead, and soon after we saw someone else getting cut in half from their point of view and it looked like it was Reinheart since he was the only one looking at Subaru at that moment.

What exactly happened there then?

But Jesus Christ, the episode just started and Subaru was already walking into his deaths, the first one in the tower was especially crazy, bro monologued the meaning of fear while fucking losing fingers and gushing blood all out of his neck, damn.

The whiplash at me laughing at Liliana's scenes after Subaru just had the worst time of his life.

Ah fuck, I knew it, the voodoo doll effect extends to Sirius herself. I guess Reinhard is not the answer to all of life's problems. If that timeline continued, it would be interesting to see further Reinhard's reaction.

Oh my God, Emilia noises while she is fighting, that, along with how she was cooking that fraud Sirius. But like, when the fuck did Emilia become this good of a fighter, ain't complaining though, her fighting style is sick?

Hmm, shouldn't Sirius be more mad at Subaru, since he's the one that killed Petelgeuse? Assuming Petelgeuse is the husband she is referring to, same last name and all. Though this gives more credence to the theory that Sirius is Fortuna.

Feels weird to get both OP and ED in a Re:Zero episode, but both are fucking fire, we got Konomi Suzuki and MYTH & ROID back. Plus the visuals were great, especially the ED, the ED was cinema.

@Teruki_Inoue Not that much. They cut the part where Subaru manage to throw Sirius out of the window, in the anime he just enter the room and talk to lusbel and she appear after.

They changed some scenes when Subaru asks Reinhard for help, Sirius was cut in the half. And some dialogue here and there. It was short because it was basically fighting.
