| I'm quite surprised at the apparent negative consensus on xxxHolic - I actually liked the stretched, slender, angular character designs. It gave the programme a sort of warped oddball feel, like some sort of perverted Quentin Blake or Brett Helquist illustration. Pleasantly surprised that Aku no Hana seems to have escaped too much criticism in this thread so far - I actually really liked that too! I can't think of too many designs that I find actively offensive, but I never really liked Jojo's visual style, although I accept it as part of the stupid, ridiculous, exaggerated package. |

| I've never watched it, and I've heard it's pretty awesome, but man the faces in Ping Pong the Animation look like they scrunched up wet drawings ripped straight from a dumpster, no offense to the artists though. Code Geass I really like, but man, the chins in that were so fucking sharp sometimes that it just took me out of the scene once I noticed it. I plan to watch xxxHOLiC in Christmas, but man, the limbs in that look so long and disproportionate that it looks like they decided to take Code Geass's already pretty thin designs and just ramp their stretch factor up to 11. |

| I personally am not a fan of how the characters in Demon Slayer look. The animation is stunning, but I always thought the proportions of the characters looked off-putting in my opinion. They sorta look like they were vertically squished, just a bit. |

| Highschool dxd hero. Round ugly and dumb looking faces. You cant feel attraction towards any of those girls. Especially my favorite Rias they ruined her pretty badly. Almost all the time she squints Attackonfiller said: High School DxD Hero. It's closer to the LN designs, but still, hell nah. This ain't it chief. Totally agree with you, but the thing that its closer to the ln is a bull$h!t that some fans say trying to make it look ok. Only because they fixed the eyes colour. | - Konosuba. Specially their "funny" expressions. Many people love them, but for some reason, I find them unsettling. - Clannad/Kanon/Air. There´s something about the girls´ eyes and mouths in particular that is irritating. - One Piece post W7. I don´t know what happened, it´s like they hired only the worst designers since then. Granted, Oda´s design itself also got awful, specially after timeskip. Women never were his forte, but... Well, you can see by yourself. |

| Hand Shakers has some of the worst character designs I've seen in anime industry. They look so flat and lifeless. I am also not a fan of the designs of The Flowers of Evil. It looks like the characters are in live-action with filters. |

| Anything Jun Maeda and Key. It looks template-ish and overused. Also, Takahiro Yoshimatsu's designs in HxH 2011. It feels too cartoonish and dated for its time in all honesty. | Psycho pass artstyle was a bit meh for me I enjoyed it a lot as an anime but the art felt a bit old and not that good still a very good anime though. |
